Parents, you need to remember that your son will need your help and support to complete his project but it is his project, and you should not be doing it with his assistance. At least a letter explaining the changes and the reason for them would be prudent. Very significant changes may necessitate that a new project proposal be submitted for approval. Changes of this magnitude are very rare, but if you believe this is happening to you, ask your troop and district for guidance. In no case should you abandon or give up on a project that you have started. If problems or significant changes arise, ask your Troop and District for guidance.
