How Emails Are Managed Today
• A site visitor lands on your website
• The visitor navigates to a form
• The visitor voluntarily provides you information
• You take the information and add it to a list manager
• Employees are then responsible for creating an email message and choosing the subscriber list
• Later, employees will return to see how ‘effective’ the email message was
• Employees will report open rates, etc. to the Marketing Director who will ask how many conversions
came from those emails
• Employees have to use tools like Google Analytics to infer the data or make a best guess
