You should conceive your presentation as an interactive communication with your
audience and the better you know it the more you can customise yr presentation.
Be aware that the context of your presentation will play a major role in how it will
be perceived by the audience.
Ask yourself:
Is the situation formal or informal
Are you the first or the last to speak?
Who is speaking after you?
Is the your presentation in the morning or in the afternoon?
How much time will you have for the presentation?
Are you expected to take questions?
Are you expected to bring a power point presentation?
Are you expected to bring you own projector or will it be provided the organizer?
Are you expected to leave hard copies of your presentation?
How much time will you have for the presentation
What level of control will you have over the environment?
