On May 6th 2010, ground was broken on a new construction project that involved burying pipes underground and preparing the foundation. A 300-meter long water pipe was installed under the slab for radiant floor heating. Double steel beams and insulation boards were added before pouring the concrete slab. Work then progressed on the lightweight steel roof structure and straw board walls made from natural materials. After completing the waterproof floor paint, a grand opening was held where keys were handed over. The new building was used for NGO workshops and a seniors' teahouse.
