School story

1. One hot summer day when the sun was shining brightly, a Little Red Hen found a small, hard grain of wheat. “ Who will help me plant this grain of wheat ?” asked Little Red Hen.

2. “ Not me ” said Duck, Because I’m plucking my feathers.” “ Not me” said Goose, “ Because I’m going for a swim in the fresh water.”

3. “ Not me,” said the Dog, “ Because I’m resting my legs.” “Not me,” said the Pig, “ I’m having a mud bath.”

4. “ Who will help me reap the wheat ”? Asked Little Red Hen.

5. “ Not me ” said Duck “ Because I am dancing in the sun .” “ Not me ” said Goose “ cause I’m stealing the neighbour’s honey .”

6. “ Not me ” said Dog “ Because I’m marking my territory .” “ Not me ” said Porky Pig “ Because I’m in the loo .”

7. “ Who will help me take this stalk of wheat to the mill to be ground into flour ?” asked Little Red Hen.

8. “ Not me ” said Duck “ Because I’m snoozing in my bed of grass ”. “ Not me ” said Goose “ Because I’m too tired ” .

9. “ Not me ” said Dog “ Because I’m going to a funeral ”. “ Not me ” said Pig, “ Because I’m sleepy .”

10. “ Who will help me make the bread ? ” said The Little Red Hen.

11. “ Not me ” said Duck “ Because I’m trying to catch the sun like Maui ”. “ Not me ” said Goose “ Because I’m bored .”

12. “ Not me ” said Dog “ Because I’m playing hide-and-seek with my friend Tree ”. “ Not me ” said Pig “ Because I’m playing on the mud-slide ”.

13. “ Who will help me bake this loaf of bread ”? said Little Red Hen.

14. “ Not me ” said Duck “ Because I’m playing hair stylist with my invisible friend ”. “ Not me ” said Goose “ Because I’m working on an appetite ”.

15. “ Not me ” said Dog “ Because I’m throwing stones ” “ Not me ” said Pinky pig “ Because I’m going to fly into the water ”.
