48 species of thistles that are found in Greece are presented here, most of which are surprisingly beautiful. They were all initially posted in Robin's Yard (http://www.robinsyard.blogspot.gr/), which is the first part of a project for the creation of a common sense, but also complete, field guide of the wonderful plants that grow on the land where I was born.
