2. Layers of the Rainforest! There are five layers in the Rainforest which are called the Emergent layer, Canopy, understory , shrub layer and the forest floor.
5. The Amur Leopard Hi I’m an Amur Leopard . There are fewer than 35 of me left in the wild. People kill me for my furry skin and keep me as rugs. They don’t realise I won’t be here long if they keep doing this to me. Remember I won’t be here for long. Two of me are in Edinburgh Zoo
6. Siberian Tigers Hi I’m a Siberian Tiger. There are 3,200 left of me in the wild. Which isn’t a lot mind you. People kill me for some of the same reasons as the Jaguar and the Leopard but they use me for rugs, handbags and purses and many more leather things you get.
7. Jaguars Hi I’m a Jaguar. There are 15,000 left of me in the wild. You may think that’s a lot don’t you but there are only 200 of me in safe places and that’s not a lot. Would you agree?
8. Bald Eagles Hi I’m a Bald Eagle. There are only 1,000 of me left in the wild . Poachers shoot me for my wonderful feathers and unfortunately I die.
