2. IMPORTANT REMINDER
This guide is intended to help you fulfill the basic
strategy of RLCC. It only contains guidelines, not
rules. How you apply them will depend on the
situation. Remember to always trust in the Holy
Spirit. This guide will not produce results; only
God can produce results (1 Cor 3:7)! So pray, pray,
and pray some more. Never allow this guide to
hinder you in doing what God wants you to do.
Memorize the acrostics if you can, but let the Holy
Spirit guide you always.

RLCC exists to reconcile the world with
God and with each other by building
communities of faith for every people
group in every strategic area by the
power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of
God.

6. OUR BELIEFS
• Bible - It's the only word of God, holy, inspired and
without errors in the original manuscripts.
• Eternal Life - It's only by grace through faith in Jesus
Christ, but faith in Him without works is dead.
• Lordship of Christ - Jesus is the only way, the truth and
the life, and He is truly man and truly God in one
Person. Therefore, there is one God in three Persons –
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
7. OUR BELIEFS
• Image of God in man - Distorted now by sin, but it
remains, and is the reason why sinful man may seek or
long for eternity.
• End times – Jesus will come again to earth from
heaven, but we don't know when.
• Filling of the Holy Spirit – It’s the need of every
genuine believer, and is always experiential in nature.
• Sanctification – God’s calling for each one is not just
for salvation, but also for sanctification, for their
situation in life, and for service in the kingdom of God.

• Organize contact point events.
10. Lead seekers to genuine conversion -
BRING
• Build relationships with lost people.
• Reveal your personal testimony.
• Invite them to study the Bible with you.
• Narrate the Gospel.
• Guide them toward genuine conversion.
11. Assimilate believers into the body of
Christ - JOIN
• Judge if they still need help with their
conversion.
• Orient them about the Christian life.
• Invite them to attend worship regularly.
• Nudge them toward commitment in a local
church.
12. Nurture believers into faithful disciples -
BUILD
• Begin a mentoring relationship.
• Understand their developmental needs.
• Instruct them according to their learning style.
• Love them unconditionally but firmly.
• Develop them toward maturity.
13. Nurture believers into faithful disciples -
MOBILIZE
• Motivate believers to serve.
• Orient them about the ministry.
• Build them into a team.
• Instruct them how to minister.
• Labor with them.
• Improve their skills through coaching.
• Zero-in on their character development.
• Encourage them to persevere in love.
14. Nurture believers into faithful disciples -
SETPACE
• Schedule your small group meetings.
• Encourage everyone to attend.
• Take time to settle down and worship.
• Prayerfully partake of meals together.
• Ask the Spirit to teach you through His word
and works.
• Constantly pray for each other.
• Encourage one another ministries in-between
meetings.
15. Nurture believers into faithful disciples -
TEAMWORK
• Transition smoothly to discuss ministry.
• Emphasize key areas for discussion.
• Ask for updates from team members.
• Maintain focus throughout the meeting.
• Wait for a clearer picture before deciding.
• Organize to do what needs to be done.
• Remind everyone of their assignments.
• Know the deadlines for each assignment.
16. Train servant leaders - SPOT
• See the potential in each person.
• Pray for potential leaders.
• Observe their life and ministry.
• Talk to them about becoming a leader.
17. Train servant leaders - TRAIN
• Teach them about the principles of leadership.
• Rely on God’s processing methods.
• Assign them to smaller tasks at first.
• Increase their responsibilities over time.
• Nurture their faith in God.
18. Train servant leaders - MENTOR
• Meet with them regularly.
• Encourage them to talk about themselves.
• Notice any area of concern.
• Talk to them about it.
• Offer your help only when asked.
• Refer them to others or to other helpful
resources.
19. Train servant leaders - COACH
• Catch up on your last conversation.
• Obtain the latest information.
• Ask open-ended questions.
• Challenge them to decide and act.
• Hold them accountable.
