is not a
bad thing!

3. This is nothing new:
TEACHERS HAVE ALWAYS TAUGHT A CLASSROOM FULL OF DIFFERENT STUDENTS!
Sometimes, though, we need to be reminded.

4. How can ART help me teach?
You don’t have to be “artsy” to integrate art.
Note: All students don’t ALWAYS enjoy art either, but why
not give them options when handing out assignments?
((ART TEACHERS HAVE TO REMEMBER THIS TOO!))
Most of the time—the students will take off with their
own CREATIVITY and they don’t need you to be “artsy.”

5. THE PROJECTS:
• MIND MAPPING—visual rep of your thoughts
• RECYCLED COLLAGE—using trash to create
• CERAMIC TILES—create from mud or bisque
Other possibilities:
Writing on something OTHER than paper.
Up-cycle OLD books for journals.
Design shoes: “Walk in (research person’s name here) Shoes”
Go outside and create installations. (great for math and science)
…and the list goes on!
