The team Oblivasis is developing a mobile app to help students organize their schoolwork. The app would allow students to record homework assignments, set reminders for due dates, and contact teachers if needed. It automatically saves all work and can be accessed anywhere via a mobile device. The core feature is an alarm that reminds students the night before homework is due to help prevent forgetting assignments.

2. School Organizer:
•Who? Used by students
•What? Organizes students for the day
•When? Used every day
•Where? Used in the classroom and at home
•Why? Using an electrical device means
saving paper and you wont loose it
Background Situation We Are Addressing
3. A Possible Problem
A possible problem is that your teacher may
not allow you to get out your phone in class
Therefore you wouldn’t be able to record your
homework and if you’re book has been
taken in or not. Another problem is if your
phone runs out of charge and you cannot
record what you need to in your app.
4. Core Question Being
Addressed With The App
How can you make sure you don’t
loose your journal or piece of
paper that you have recorded
your homework down on?
5. The School organizer sends out an alarm three days before the set
homework is due so you have plenty of time to get on with the work
that has been set.
It has main features that can be easy to use. It also has a way to
contact teachers if you want to talk to them about something or you
just don’t understand or didn't receive the homework.
All the work you do on a device of your choice on the school organizer
app is automatically saved after you leave the app.
6. [Oblivasis]
My team, [Oblivasis], is developing [a mobile app]
to help [students] [who need help with there homework, timetable
or packing a bag for school] [to help with schoolwork.]
7. Ellie Lewis- Business Woman/ Representative
I will be representing the app to the audience and pointing
out some of the best and unique parts of the app and will be
speaking for the whole of the group.
Grace Kennedy- Organizer
Grace is organising out who is who and what everyone is
doing.
Katherine Rice- Designer
Katherine is the person behind all the sketches, designs and
drawings. She will be distributing many complex and modern
design ideas she has thought about.
Olivia Hellewell- The brains
Olivia is the one who has been thinking about how to create
the whole app including many of the best features.
8. We looked on the apple app store and we could not find
any app that was similar to our idea. We were originally
going to do an app that allows you to design your own
cards and flowers etc. But we realised there were many
apps or websites similar to this idea such as:
moonpig.com
Funkypigeon.com
Dogsdoodahs.com
Moo.com
Helloturtle.com

9. Core Feature
In our opinion, the best feature is that you can
set an alarm to go off the night before a piece
of homework is due so you don’t forget to do
it, and if you already have forgotten to do your
homework then when the alarm goes off you
will remember.
Editor's Notes
What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing.Example: BuzzerBuddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user researchExamples: BuzzerBuddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: BuzzerBuddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here.Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
Summarise what other solutions or alternatives you have found that already exist in the market and explain why they don’t fully solve the problem you are looking at or why your proposed solution is better.
