Edusim is a 3D virtual world platform built using Croquet/Cobalt software that allows lessons to be taught directly on an interactive whiteboard. It has been in development for 9 months with pilot tests involving over 50 students and 5 teachers. The software platform and 3D lessons are the core components, with a focus currently on biology and earth science lessons. Teacher training and support is provided to help educators learn to use and extend the virtual lessons.
