I currently work as a Level 6 advanced operator for a Dairy company, butI’m also
looking to further my career and looking into learningManagementskills.
Work History (New Zealand)
August 2006- Present.
Started work for the FonterraDairy Company, firstjobwas an operator on the Floor,
learningvariouspacking machines and butter maker, moved up to a Level 5A senior
operator in the treatment area, then progressed to my present role as a Level 6 advanced
operator in the treatment area.
My currentrole involvescream management, we have to make surethat we pasteurise
the raw cream and it has had enough time to crystallise in the silos for the production of
butter, another part of the role is fault findingwhen our plants have problems. I am
involved in a daily morningmeeting, where we inform managementof any issues with
the plantand any mechanical issues.
Strengths and achievements
.Planning, aswe have an optimalage for the treated cream part of the job is to work out
how long the butter makerswill useall the treated cream in stock and then make sure
we treat more cream to make sureit aged correctly for use.
. Good work ethic as I like to do the job as good as possible.

so our job becomes a lot more intense
.Since workingat Fonterra I have completed various compliancetraining involved in the
dairy industry and in 2013 Ipassed my Diplomain dairy manufacturing, more

Initially joined the company asa grinder operator and wasrapidly promoted into a shift
supervisor/chargehand in control of production on a 3 shift rotation. When the
company wastaken over by Scott Nutrition, the company becameinvolved in more
specialist animalproduction and my rolegrew to includeproduction controland site
liaison with two other sites across the country. Additionally Iwas cover for the stores so
I had to manage order process ensuringordersareready for truck collection and
delivery across England, Europeand further afield.

electricians and fitters on the night shifts.
. Liaising with two other sites across the country and telling them what time to be at our
site the followingday to collect their loads.

finished feed.
.Order processing; make sureloads are ready for pickup on time for delivery
worldwide.
.Stock Taking, and the orderingof raw materials when required.

INTERESTS:
In my sparetime I am actively involved in the local GymnasticClubas oneof the lead
coaches, I also help at my children’s schools with campsetc, as well as being a member of
the Taranaki civil defence. I enjoy going for long walks on the beaches with my family
and our dogs, also like going for walks up the Local Mountain and having fun on the snow
with my children. I am an avid football fan, I follow Liverpool FC. I enjoy watching
motorbike racing and Gymnasticsof course. I also have a coupleof kayaks and in the
summer wego down to our local dam for a day out, swimmingand kayaking. I am a keen
fisherman, though I only have started sea fishing since we moved to New Zealand. I class
myself as a friendly kind of person so I like socialising generally.
