has been and always will be a topic of heated debate. Whether one is 'pro–choice' or 'pro–life' can
depend on many different factors. One's upbringing and religious views play a major role when it
comes to supporting abortion or not. There are many reasons that a woman could be getting an
abortion therefore people should not be quick to judge. If a woman feels like her life or the
child's life will not be suitable for survival, then she should be respected for her decision. A

I believe that all the reasons above are just reasons one would get an abortion. If one cannot afford a
child and does not have enough time to give the child enough love and attention, a child should not
be brought into that type of environment in the first place. These reasons should be taken into
consideration when one is judging another about their decision to get an abortion. Another argument
that is brought up a lot is that if a woman makes the decision to participate in sexual intercourse then
she should pay the consequences that could possibly arise from it. Sex is a completely normal act of
nature that no one should be punished by. Although there are many precautions one can take to

Abortion, Should it be legal? Although some say abortion should be illegal and parents should not
be allowed to choose abortion because it is unsafe, immoral, and against Christian beliefs to allow
it. Abortion should be legal, it is safe and most people believe that abortion should be up to the
parents because even though arguers say it is against their Christian beliefs, it is a moral
decision that does not violate human rights, the overall abortion procedure is safe , and abortion
can be justified. Abortion is a choice, a choice the mother must make. Abortion is a choice left
solely to the mother or parents of the child. "Abortion is an absolutely moral choice for any

carry this child and have a birth that she may not want, so it is up to her to choose if she wants
this child. The fetus is not yet a human being because it can not survive outside of the uterus, so
it does not violate the human right to live. The abortion is not murder because the embryo is not

"Abortion: Legal or Illegal?" Prior to the famous Roe vs. Wade case in 1973, abortion was legal in
20 states and illegal in the remaining 30. After the case, the Supreme Court decided to legalize
abortion. By definition, abortion is "the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting
in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus." Other terminology, such as pro–life, is
defined as "opposed to abortion," while pro–choice is "believing that pregnant women should have
the right to choose to have an abortion." Abortion is an extremely controversial topic with such
extreme opposing views that it can never reach a satisfying consensus for all citizens. Whether
abortion should be legal or not because it mostly comes down to one's opinion and morals, which
vary from person to person. The two opposing views have a lot of support for their reasoning behind
their opinions, but the main gist of it is that pro–choice believers think that making abortion illegal is
unfair and unjust because that takes away a woman's freedom to make her own choices. On the
other hand, pro–life believers think that an abortion is equivalent to murder and that since the
mother is able to make a decision to kill her baby, the law should be the baby's voice and decide to

What are the reasons behind having an abortion? And, does abortion solve their problems? Pregnancy
happens under different circumstances, some which are planned and some are unplanned and are
unexpected, some women are unable to continue with their pregnancy and have no other choice.
Abortion may solve the problem of an unwanted child, but it is not the answer to all unwanted
pregnancies, in fact, many women are against it, many say "that if they are given a choice between
keeping their unborn child and aborting it, 85 per cent will chose to keep the child" (Reachout.com,
2014). Abortion is not a blanket problem and we are unable to foresee every case possible, therefore,
each case must be treated appropriately and according to the circumstances surrounding it, and a

I grew up in a Christian family, so my opinion on abortion is very based on the Bible, which I
