4. Internship Objectives
Chicago Job Corps would like students
to have the following hands on training
experience:
Demonstrate professional customer service skills.
Identify and interpret major components of a complete
prescription.
Screen for completeness and make necessary
adjustments and/or forward to pharmacist as required.
Identify appropriate situations to suggest a generic drug.
Utilize business-related handbooks and workbooks.
Process refills via electronic refill and phone systems.
Demonstrate accuracy in counting and pouring
prescription medications, reconstituting mixables and
handling refrigerated medications.
