The workshop agenda focused on carbon finance and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) potential in countries belonging to the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE). The agenda included sessions on assessing current CDM portfolios and identifying projects that could be registered before 2012, as well as exploring Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) for RCREEE member states. Participants worked in groups to classify promising projects, identify support needs, and select two promising NAMAs for the region. The workshop aimed to provide recommendations on achieving project registration and developing a NAMA strategy for RCREEE member countries.
