Students feel comfortable in expressing themselves and enjoy the use of technology to share pictures and experiences of their time here in the United States. For shy students, it lowers their affective filter and enables them to continue their practice of vocabulary outside of the classroom setting. For “non-techies,” it’s been an easy learning curve and many have taken the initiative to go beyond simple text posts to slide shows, hyperlinks, and more.
