Out of 3200 employees, only 114 (3.5%) are on linkedin. – as a public company, this is embarrassing. For people who are looking on Linkedin, WHK has no credibility whatsoever.Tony Marshall, from NZ, is in charge of the company profile, and activity on Linkedin. Here is his own profile...
Might as well not be there:No past, no network, no understanding of the medium.
A little better, they include specialties (key words to optimise search results).103 out of 800 employees are registered on Linkedin 13%. All in senior positions – from manager (18% of registe
Again, a little better – We’ve got a cowboy managing our financial affairs. Has 2 recommendations, and 38 connections. Good summary, and general understanding of the medium. Acceptable starting point.
BDO – no company profile ( except one that Linkedin has created). There is a career path for current employees – coming from the big 4 accounting firms, and leaving to work at Telstra (??).Very bad brand management.
Pitcher Partners – 233 employees on Linkedin out of 800 (29%). Have a good overview, with a few specialties.Employees provide enough information, to generate a good career path (from big 4, to big 4 and major banks). And look at who manages the company’s brand online: Cameron Watson.
A DBA – Database administrator – a programmer! Not a marketing, PR or even a senior manager!
2 results for the same company. Which means – no brand management, people add whatever they want to their profile, and no monitoring!
No overview, brand management is left to Linkedin to manage. Interesting fact which linkedin picked up on, and advertised for the world to see – average employee working for Grant Thornton is 33 years old. What does it say about the experience in the company??
Same company – different presence – this time “managed” by the company – median age now dropped to 28 years old. 120 employees in total, 47 have a linkedin profile. Not enough information in them to generate real information about the company. This company profile is [mis]handled by Lukasz Hansdorfer, .
An accountant within the firm. Is this the one you’d like to manage your online brand??
Same with Moore Stephens
Adelaide HQ, 31 employees, account handled by Ian Anderson.
Interesting – he’s a managing director of an accounting firm, as well as has a separate company, 10X LTD. His industry – Professional Training and coaching. Can this guy manage my financial affairs???
Moore Stephens, take two:Overview of the west sydney branch, have 100 employees (only 10% on Linkedin), male dominated office (70%). You’ll notice that one of the Sydney directors (Alan Max) is associated with the Adelaide branch. Isn’t it interesting??Company profile is managed by David Sexton.
Mr. Sexton is the COO of the West Sydney branch. He has “extensive senior management experience”, and over 10% of his connections vouch for him. Isn’t it interesting??
Although company’s profile is not managed, stuff are using the tool, and providing enough information for Linkedin to present some statistics, and give valuable information about changes in management, etc...For example – Tony Rose has recently been appointed as Director (partner) in the firm. Mr. Rose Has moved from a Partner position in PKF. Isn’t it interesting??
