The reason: Trai believes adequate spectrum should first be made available to existing operators with networks and subscribers to help them perform their operations efficiently. – ET -12/05/2010 1.2.1 ) The regulator also proposed to do away with existing subscriber-linked criteria and came up with a new formula for paying spectrum charges beyond 6.2MHz.
