2. Saturday 26th November 2016
On Saturday the 26th of November, I filmed the
narrative element to my music video. I am really
happy with how the shoot went. We stuck to my
plan and got everything done with time to spare.
After reviewing the footage after, it’s clear
that what we filmed was successful and I am
excited to use it in my music video. I learnt
from this experience how important planning is as
without my storyboards, and call sheets
everything would have been a lot less organised
and more difficult.

4. Friday 16th December 2016
On Friday the 16th of November I filmed the performance
element of my music video. I planned to film footage of
the main artist lip-syncing in the studio too a white
background and I used the green screen to do this.
After receiving my peer feedback on my first edit, I
decided to focus on only filming close-ups and
mid-shots to make sure the artists emotions could
clearly be seen on her face. This shoot went really
well and I recorded enough footage to experiment with
lots of different shot types to see what would look
best with the narrative part of my music video.
