I am a front and back-end web developer and have been working on the web since 1997. I founded edgeofmyseat.com in September 2001. We started out as a web development consultancy, mainly developing sites on behalf of design agency clients. In May 2009 we launched Perch - the Really Little CMS. This product is now the majority of our business, we launched a second product this year - Perch Runway - which is a version of Perch tailored to larger sites. As a technology writer I have written and published a number of books and articles on the subjects of web design and development - with a particular focus on web standards and accessibility.
