Corfu
Introduction
The island of Corfu is located just off the West coast of Greece.
Corfu enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate along with excellent
beaches making it a popular destination for holiday makers.
Corfu is very green compared to other Greek islands: hot and dry
summers along with winter rain creates lush vegetation which is
dominated by over 2 million olive trees. These olive trees on
Corfu are the main cultivation, although Corfu's tourism now pro-
vides the most income.

Quiet Locations
Although Corfu had a reputation for mass tourism, nowadays the
island has returned to a quieter holiday destination. There are
many relatively untouched parts of the coastline that continue to
delight. These are the very locations that Agni Travel focuses
on.

Flying to Corfu
Corfu Airport: Flying to Corfu, for most Europeans, is an easy
flight lasting less than 3 hours. Corfu's International airport
( K apodistrias ) is located on the edge of Corfu ( K erkyra )
town, it is modern and compact. During the summer months
( M ay to October ) there are regular charter flights from most
European countries to Corfu. Domestic flights ( from Athens )
operate all year round.

Beaches
The Greek isles mean beaches. Corfu is no exception and has
many varied beaches for you to choose from and enjoy. Sandy,
rocky coves, quiet and hidden. If beaches are an important part
of your holiday, then Corfu should be at the top of your list.

Tavernas
Holidays on Corfu mean tavernas! Eating to Greeks is life itself. It
is a time for Greek families to get together and socialise. The
traditional highlight of the week is Sunday lunch - long drawn out
affairs - often lasting many hours. With an abundance of taver-
nas—many right on the beach, you will not go hungry for a
healthy Greek meal.

Villa Andreas, Kassiopi
A lovely, quiet setting, but is no more than a few minutes drive away
from all the amenities of Kassiopi itself

Overview
Villa Andreas is a charming house of great character, modern, but with many of
the features so admired in traditional Corfiot houses - beamed ceilings, attractive
stonework, corner fireplace. Set on a green hillside overlooking the village and
harbour of Kassiopi, it has a lovely, quiet setting, but is no more than a few min-
utes drive away from all the amenities of Kassiopi itself.

Pool
The large pool terrace is completely private and offers views of the surrounding
olive groves and down towards Kassiopi and the sea.

Villa Emilios, Kalami, Vigla
Villa Emilios is undoubtedly one of the finest villas in the area

Overview
A villa of great style, it has uninterrupted panoramic views from the balcony and
pool terrace down to the bays of Kalami, Kouloura and Kerasia and across to the
mainland. It is very luxuriously appointed, with a large modern kitchen, and three
fully air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms, including a master bedroom 'suite' fea-
turing a bathroom with 'Jacuzzi' style bath and shower. It is touches like this that
elevate Villa Emilios into a class of its own. All of this is complemented by a
highly desirable private swimming pool making the villa ideal for a family holiday.

Layout
Steps lead up from the parking area to the ground floor, with living room, dining
area and kitchen. Cloakroom. Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. Upper floor:
Master double bedroom with en suite bath/jacuzzi, twin bedroom with en suite

Pool
The pool is imaginatively designed to take full advantage of its south-facing as-
pect. With full sun almost all day long, the shady area beneath the upstairs ter-
race offers a cool retreat without having to leave the pool.

Alexandra, Saint Stephanos
Undoubtedly the best water-front accommodation in the stylish resort
of Saint Stephanos

Overview
Alexandra occupies the top floor of a large house just a few metres from the har-
bourfront and only a couple of minutes' walk from the village shops and the
pleasant bars and tavernas that line the shore.

Layout
A set of steps, at one side of the building, leads into Alexandra. The spacious
lounge opens on to the terrace that wraps the house on three sides, getting the
benefit of the sun all day long. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Balcony and Terrace
The large balcony offers breathtaking views of the sea and the pretty harbour
and village. Sunbeds are provided to complete the perfect setting. The rear ter-
race is part shaded by vines and features a large stone table and patio chairs. A
stone built barbecue, table and chairs have considerably enhanced the possibili-
ties for eating outside at Alexandra and watching the world pass by at a slow
Corfiot pace. This is perfect relaxation, absorbing the superb views of the Alba-
nian mountains opposite, and watching the ferries in the distance as they pass
by, quite a sight at night especially.

Villa Saranda's extensive terrace affords outstanding, uninterrupted views over
this beautiful natural landscape, yet its position is far from inaccessible, for both
the bays of Kalami and Agni are just over a 15 minute walk away around the
headland in opposite directions from the villa.

The rectangular shaped swimming pool overlooks the bay of Yaliscari and the

inviting, you may feel you want to swim out across the sea! For those less ener-
getic, the pool terrace has ample space for sunbathing.

where you can even see who is moored to the jetty at Taverna Agni! This is the

The villa has the advantage of being built on one level, and there are just a few
steps up to it from the parking area. The entrance leads into an open plan
lounge/kitchen/dining room which opens directly on to the front and pool ter-

shaded relaxation and for outdoor meals.

The infinity-style pool to the side of the property faces south and is bathed in

The Bella Mare accommodation is distributed between three villa-style buildings,
placed to afford maximum privacy for the occupants, with easy access to Avlaki
Beach and extensive landscaped gardens. A huge swimming pool, well-

Pool
The pool is large and very well supplied with sun loungers and umbrellas. Broad
paved terraces surround it, giving plenty of room for sunbathing. Avlaki Beach is
one of Corfu's Blue Flag beaches; a long crescent of white pebbles, with gentle
cooling breezes most afternoons. The beach is surprisingly quiet and resembles
a yet-to-be discovered Caribbean beach!

The small harbour village of Saint Stephanos has now become a very popular
'up market' resort. There is a thriving local Greek community, welcoming its visi-
tors with all the warmth and hospitality for which Greece is famous. The coast on
both sides of St Stephanos is a succession of one lovely bay and beach after
another, some quite unfrequented, and renting a motor boat is the ideal way to
explore. Relaxing evenings can be spent in one of the four waterfront tavernas
looking across the sea to Albania.

Layout
On entering this very superior apartment, you find a large and very smartly fur-
nished open-plan living/dining room with kitchen. A small hall leads to the bath-
room ( bath and shower fitment ) and two bedrooms, one double, one twin.

Balcony
Outside there is a spacious sea-facing balcony with table, chairs, a shady um-
brella and sun-beds. The balcony, just a stone's throw from the water's edge,
overlooks the harbour and is a great vantage point for watching what's going on

The apartments are identical in layout, with comfortable sitting area, kitchen/

the bedrooms and the kitchen have their own balconies.

Pool
Steps down from the villa lead to the magnificent swimming pool which is sur-
rounded by a sun terrace with plenty of room for sun beds and overlooking the
rural valley of Avlaki and the mountains beyond. With such an attractive setting,
it is quite conceivable that you might choose to while away your entire holiday
here!

Location
Barely five minutes walk away from the beach of Avlaki, with its sailing and wind-
surfing centre and two excellent tavernas. Kassiopi is very conveniently located,

just a 5 minute drive away, or a 30 minute hike. Kassiopi, offers a great choice of
shopping and entertainment.

The perfect beach front villa for people who enjoy being part of the tiny village,
with friendly locals as neighbours. The beach is right on the doorstep, and two
tavernas are close enough to make the after-dinner stroll back - even after one
ouzo too many!

Layout
Dinos is part of one of the oldest buildings in the village, and has typically thick
stone walls. The massive stones have not been an obstacle to the owners in
converting the property into a superb apartment to accommodate 2 adults and a
young child in comfort. Bedroom ( double ) , dining/living room with sofa-bed,

Sun Terrace
The sun terrace at Dinos is particularly attractive, with its mature shrubs and
ample room for sunbathing as well as eating out of doors. In front of the prop-
erty is the beach. The water is crystal clear, making snorkelling a delight.

Very much a family home with lots of personal touches throughout

Overview
Villa Ollios is a modern villa, enjoying a South facing sunny aspect with views
over Kalami, including overlooking the famous White House, where Lawrence
Durrell once lived. ( His years in Corfu are poetically described in his book
'Prospero's Cell'. ) The two-storey property is beautifully decorated throughout
in the traditional Greek colours of blue and white, employed here with a very
contemporary flair.

Entry to the villa takes you into the well equipped kitchen and the sitting room,
overlooking the pool and opening onto a large shaded terrace and outside dining

occupies the floor below Villa Anda and shares its quietly traditional atmosphere.

yond, glittering and very tempting. It is just a couple of minutes walk to the beach
and the two friendly tavernas.

Balcony and Gardens
Perhaps the most appealing feature of Irena is the wonderful shaded terrace,
with its magnificent views across the harbour and across to the mainland moun-

Pool and Gardens
The large vine covered pool terrace will probably become a favourite part of the
house; sitting out here amidst the plants is rather like sitting in a conservatory!

sitting round the table will be just what you need. You may be visited from time to
time by one of the local inquisitive cats who frequently pass the house on their
way to see what is on the menu at the tavernas!

stretch of coast and you have everything you could desire for a perfect summer
holiday.

Alexia is divided into three self-contained apartments, but let as one villa.. The
largest occupies the upper floor ( with three bedrooms) . A large studio with
separate lounge and kitchen, and a two-bedroomed apartment are situated on
the ground floor. In total, Alexia boasts: 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 main
kitchen, 2 kitchenettes and 3 lounges.

Pool
A beautiful pool, big enough for some real swimming, plentifully supplied with
sunloungers. A most attractive setting of pale stone walls and paving. The lower
'sunken' terrace is a great asset and extends the space for relaxing considerably.
Below the pool is a gate that opens directly onto the beach.

In the heart of this sleepy little hamlet, only two minutes from the beach and with
a shared pool, Delphine sleeps 6 and has been fitted to the highest standard.

Entry to the apartment takes you immediately into the very stylish and tastefully
furnished living/dining area. The kitchen is to the right with the third bedroom off
and to the right. There is also a shower room on this level. A spiral staircase
leads up to a very spacious landing from which the further two bedrooms and
bathroom radiate

Pool
All bedrooms offer a balcony facing the sparkling kidney-shaped swimming pool
which is set into the terrace - just a couple of steps away from that early morning
swim! With plenty of room for sunbeds you may never want to venture further!

Porto, Saint Stephanos
A typically Greek house in the heart of a fishing village

Overview
Porto Villa is one of the traditional village houses of Saint Stephanos. Just a few
paces away from the delightful and interesting harbour-front, it has a pleasant,
covered terrace that is the perfect spot to start or end another wonderful day of
that precious holiday. The bakery and supermarket is close enough for the crois-
sants to be still hot when you go to fetch them for breakfast! The accommodation
is simple but just right for anyone who wants to be right at the heart of every-
thing, with beach, harbour, bars, restaurants and shops close by. Ideal for a cou-
ple or a small family.

Layout
A few steps, shaded by a healthy vine, lead up from the lane to the covered ter-
race of Porto Villa, from which the front door opens into a simply furnished sitting
area that in turn leads to the kitchen and dining area. There are two bedrooms,
one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and a bathroom.

Terrace
The terrace of Porto is as good as an extra living room, with comfortable chairs
and a table, and a view towards the harbour-front of St. Stephano. It is roofed,

Villelmina Apartment, Sinies

Overview
This modern, spacious apartment shares a swimming pool with Villelmina
House, which is situated above it. The views are absolutely incredible, and are
perhaps the greatest asset of this attractive apartment. Only a short distance
from the up-market resort of St Stephano with its popular quay-side tavernas,
and a few minutes drive to busy Kassiopi ( offering a great variety of shopping,
entertainment and dining opportunities ) and, we feel, situated in an ideal loca-
tion. The village of Sinies with its bakery, supermarket and two traditional coffee-
shops ( Kafeneia ) are within a few minutes' walk of the property.

Pool
The pool is located below the apartment, and accessed by some stone-flagged
steps. Thanks to its elevated position and south-facing aspect, it enjoys sun al-

Overview
Villa Dora is situated right in the heart of the little seaside hamlet of Kaminaki,
with the beach, tavernas and local shop scarcely two minutes walk away. The
villa sleeps 4, and shares a pool. Attractively decorated and furnished, Villa Dora
benefits from a front-facing terrace overlooking the kidney-shaped pool, and a
separate rooftop terrace with marvellous seaviews.

Layout
The accommodation at Villa Dora is all on one level, with entry into the open-
plan living/dining and kitchen area. To the left are two bedrooms ( one twin, one
double ) and on the far right of the kitchen area is the bathroom.

Pool and Terrace
A sparkling pool is just in front of the apartment. An early morning swim has
never been more conveniently located! There is ample room for sunbeds, and

The Olive Press is one of our favourite properties, set as it is right on the water's
edge between Barbati and Nissaki, in a surprisingly secluded position. Built
many years ago as an olive press, it is now one of the most beautiful and un-
usual villas on the island. The sea comes right up to the terrace wall, and a small
beach, backed by old olive trees, is just a few steps away.

Terrace
The south-facing terrace could not be any closer to the sea - the waves splash
against its wall. A few steps lead down to the water's edge, where the swimming

by an old grapevine, and by large modern umbrellas. The villa's location is par-
ticularly suitable for hiring a motor boat. This can be moored at the bottom of the

Overview
Above Nissaki on the northeast coast of Corfu, there are some quite delightful
conversions of old stone houses, set amidst olive groves, overlooking wonderful
views, and apparently quite off the beaten track. Yet the beaches and pleasant,
friendly village of Nissaki are just 1 km away- barely a few minutes by car. Villa
Kefalaki is one such villa. Quiet and totally private. The views really are spec-
tacular. Tavernas and a supermarket/bakery are nearby.

Layout
Entry to the villa is via the main terrace, reached by a few steps up from the
parking area. Once inside, all rooms are on one level with no steps throughout
making Villa Kefalaki suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The house has
been most sympathetically restored, allowing the old stone walls to speak for
themselves. These same stone walls do, of course, help to keep the house cool
in summer, but for extra comfort, the whole property is air conditioned.

Renoula occupies a very favoured position on the edge of St Stephano and only
a stone's throw from the water's edge. It is a comfortably furnished, self-

Corfu. Guests find it very hard to drag themselves away from ths balcony, but
the amenities of the village are so close that it really is no effort.

The Olive Press, Agni
Set within an enchanting olive grove, overlooking the beautiful bay of

Overview
The Agni Olive Press occupies the top part of a former agricultural building. Now
a unique villa, it was transformed by the sure touch of its owner, Giuseppe, into a
romantic and utterly delightful hideaway. It must be one of the most bewitching
houses in Corfu, full of character, chic, a skilful blend of old and new. Many fea-
tures of the old olive press have been incorporated into the house - vaulted brick
and stone walls and openings, millstones put to use as tables.

Giuseppe, an Italian from Milan, converted this old olive press above Agni Bay
over 30 years ago. The building is over 200 years old, but has been superbly
modernised, retaining many of the original features in order to preserve the char-
acter of the house. The lower house used to be the storage area for olives,
whilst the upper house ( The Olive Press - Agni Bay ) was indeed the actual
press. Having originally been an olive press, the house naturally nestles within a
large olive grove.

Layout
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds -
both air-conditioned. The bedrooms open on to terraces and each has an en
suite shower room. The sitting room, equipped with TV and a corner fireplace,
also opens on to a patio/terrace, furnished for outdoor dining. The kitchen is
modern and particularly well-equipped, with a breakfast corner and French win-
dows opening to a terrace.

Villa Frosso is located in the village of Vlahatika above Kalami, and looks out
over stunning views of the Bay of Kalami, across the channel to Albania. The
view of Kalami, nestled between beautiful headlands, is dominated by the White
House, where Lawrence Durrell lived in the years before WWII and wrote his
beautiful memoir of Corfu called 'Prospero's Cell'. If you are agile and a good
walker, Kalami can be reached by a footpath just below the villa.

The interior accommodation is laid out all on one level, with a very stylish and
comfortable lounge with fireplace, a dining room, kitchen, one double bedroom
and one twin bedroom, and a bathroom. Outside, a long, shaded terrace runs
the length of the house and is equipped with a big outdoor table and seating.
Gated steps lead down to a separate, smaller terrace, with bamboo seating

This newly renovated villa, by the water’s edge, is finished to a very

Paola House is situated in an excellent position just off the waterfront at Agios
( S aint ) Stephanos. This newly renovated villa is finished to a very high stan-
dard of comfort and convenience. It is located just a few metres back from the
harbour and has delightful views looking across the bay to Albania opposite.
With a selection of mini-markets close by, and a choice of four very pleasant
tavernas for a relaxed evening meal, it would be hard to equal the position of
Paola House.

Layout
The villa has a sun lounge - virtually a 'solarium' - that leads into a kitchen ( with
separate utility room ) , dining and lounge area. There is one bedroom down-
stairs, and two more upstairs, reached by internal stairs. All bedrooms have en
suite shower/bathrooms. Paola House also benefits from a large and very attrac-
tive terrace on the first floor, with fine views.

The downstairs front terrace has a very pleasant feel to it, and is surrounded by
handsome wrought iron railings. The house is very close to the harbour-front and

Paxos is the smallest of the Ionian Islands, lying just 11 km from
the southernmost tip of Corfu. Many visitors return year after year
to Paxos to experience the intimacy of this peaceful haven, the
genuine friendliness of the local Paxiots, and the captivating
scenery. Paxos is covered in many olive groves intersected by
dry-stone walls and paths, that often lead to a derelict villa or
abandoned stone olive press! The gnarled and twisted olive
trees, some of them hundreds of years old, shelter numerous
species of wild flowers at their roots, while here and there, small
vineyards flourish. This serene and unspoiled landscape is what
makes a holiday to the island of Paxos truly memorable.

Not a Nightclub in sight!
Paxos, thankfully, has been missed by the mass tourist hoards
that have invaded other Greek islands. Maybe this is due to the
lack of airport or simply because there is so little to do! Those
seeking action packed adventure holidays may be disap-
pointed. ( The distinct lack of nightclubs? ) No, Paxos offers
those who enjoy Greece gone by, quiet beaches, time to catch
up on reading a favourite book or the starting of the much de-
layed memoir?

Getting to Paxos
Paxos has no airport, thankfully, as this has helped keep the
crowds away! Most visitors reach Paxos by flying into Corfu and
then taking a ferry, hydrofoil or Seaplane to Gaios.

Beaches
There are excellent beaches and quiet coves on Paxos, with
crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming. Paxos is famous for
clear turquoise waters. Although only one or two are sandy
beaches, Paxos has the most magical clear swimming waters for
you to enjoy. The beaches of Paxos are mostly pebble or a mix-
ture of pebbles and sand. In the bay of Lakka the pebble
beaches are unusual in that they give way to sand under the wa-
ter. On the more sheltered east coast there are about 30
beaches, varying in size, all best accessed by boat though a few
can be reached by road and most of them on foot. Continue for

Tavernas
Greek island holidays focus on food. Nothing could be more en-
joyable than a relaxing Greek taverna after a long day on the
beach! Sadly, many associate Greek food with a bland soggy
Mousaka, served with chips! It is true that during the 70's and
80's ( Greece's early tourist years ) , this was often the case.
Thankfully things have dramatically changed, especially on
Paxos, and now you can expect to find modern cosmopolitan
Paxiot food.

and for its lovely sandy beach - one of only two sandy beaches on Paxos. Swim-
ming is safe and most enjoyable in these delightful surroundings.

Spiro's Jetty House really is a house on a jetty - which gives it a unique charac-
ter. With views of the colourful and very pretty harbour from one side of the
house and open sea views across to the Greek mainland from the other. It is
rather like living on a boat!

Location
The jetty at Loggos is probably one of the most photographed locations on
Paxos. The house is entered directly from the jetty with water on both sides. A
front door leads to a flight of stairs that in turn lead up to the property. The
ground floor is occupied by a quiet and very laidback little bar, and boats are
moored right outside. At the rear, there is nothing but sea - as far as the eye can
see!

Villa Kostas is one of those charming little Paxiot houses, compact in size but
just right for two or four people. It opens on to paved terraces and a courtyard
with beautiful stonework and well-tended citrus and olive trees. A charming new
swimming pool is a very welcome addition. Eating outdoors is always a special
pleasure on holiday and Villa Kostas is well-equipped for this, with a large barbe-

Villa Lefkas is one of a group of three privately-owned villas, occupying what
must be one of the most desirable locations on the island of Paxos. Just one
kilometer north of Gaios, at Anassa, the properties open on to a small and ex-
traordinarily beautiful beach of luminous white pebbles, fringed by trees and
lapped by the azure water for which Paxos is famous. The views are glorious
and from the villa the mainland is visible as well as the island of Lefkas.

Layout
There are two bedrooms, one double, separated by a small lobby from the
shower room, and a 'gallery' style twin bedroom on the mezzanine floor over-

Villa Lefkas Lower is quite separate from Villa Lefkas above, with its own en-
trance and private terraces, but the pool is shared between the two. There are of
course more than enough sunloungers and umbrellas to please everyone.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds -
both air-conditioned. The bedrooms open on to terraces and each has an en
suite shower room. The sitting room, equipped with TV and a corner fireplace,
also opens on to a patio/terrace, furnished for outdoor dining. The kitchen is
modern and particularly well-equipped, with a breakfast corner and French win-
dows opening to a terrace.

Pool
From the lounge, big patio windows open on to the outdoor dining terrace with
access to the pool. A few steps down from the pool is the stunning beach below.
Each morning, it really will be a difficult decision: sunbathe by the pool or on the
beach!

Villa Parga, Gaios

We feel confident in saying that the three villas of which Villa Parga is one could
not be better located. One kilometer north of Gaios, this breathtaking private
property borders one of the prettiest beaches on Paxos.

Layout
The lower floor has three bedrooms, each with en suite shower room, a lounge
and a kitchen/dining area. Most of the rooms open on to a terrace overlooking
the pool. On the top floor there are two bedrooms, each with en suite shower
room, another lounge and a kitchen with dining area.

Pool

light of the sunset. With a kitchen conveniently located on the same level, and a
large extendable table this is where friends and family can gather for a lingering
meal in idyllic surroundings.

Introduction
Lefkada is a paradise of colour and a surprisingly green Greek
island - due in part to the abundance of well kept olive groves
covering the island. The most remarkable feature though is the
colour of the Ionian sea. The white soft sand creates a breathtak-
ing turquoise sea that has Lefkada some of the finest beaches in
Greece.

Getting to Lefkada
Lefkada has no airport and therefore has no direct flights. How-
ever, close by Preveza airport, on mainland Greece, a mere 15
minutes away from Lefkada Town, international charter flights
operate during May to October which have made it so much eas-
ier getting to Lefkas. There are also daily flights from Athens op-
erating year round. The drive from Preveza to Lefkada is short
and takes you over the causeway that connects the island to the
mainland. It is a fascinating way to arrive.

Beaches
On Lefkada you will be spoilt for choice. Whether your are look-
ing for a soft sandy paradise beach and turquoise water or a pri-
vate cove cut into the rocks the beaches will not disappoint.
Many of Lefkada's beaches have been awarded EU blue flags:
From Gyra Beach, opposite the castle at the town of Lefkada to
the long sandy beaches south of Agios Nikitas, Pefkoulia and
Kathisma; on to Vassiliki beach, a favourite for windsurfers. Other
stunning beaches are Porto Katsiki, Poros and Nikiana.

Lefkas Town (Capital of Lefkada)
The initial view of Lefkas Town is dominated by the great walls of
the Agia Mavra fortress, and on entering Lekas town it is appar-
ent that it is nothing like the other Ionian island towns. This is
largely due to an earthquake, in 1948, that destroyed the town.
The town was re-built with limited resources and has resulted in a
fascinating collection, and colourful, style of architecture. The
houses have a stone ground floors and a light wooden storey
above. Hammered sheet metal was used to cover the upper
wooden storey and later brightly painted - resulting in a unique
visual experience.

Introduction
Kefalonia is located on the West coast of Greece, and has a mild
climate along with excellent beaches. The island of Kefalonia has
escaped mass tourism and recently was used to film Captain
Corelli's Mandolin, set in war-time Kefalonia. The film, with Niko-
las Cage, was a huge success and it put Kefalonia firmly on the
'must visit' list of destinations.

Getting to Kefalonia
There are regular flights from most European airports. UK depar-
tures are on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday and the
flight time is approximately 3 hours.

Beaches
Once voted 10th in a world scenic beauty league, Kefalonia
boasts some of Greek islands most beautiful beaches. Whether
you prefer a long sandy beach with water-sports or a tiny se-
cluded cove, Kefalonia offers it.

Captain Corelli's Mandolin
During World War II, Kefalonia was under Italian and German
occupation, and inspired the writer Loius de Bernieres to write
the famous book Captain Corellis Mandolin, which later became
a movie and was filmed on Kefalonia.

Lakes And Caves
If beauty is from within, then Kefalonia is a fine example with its
well documented and strange geological phenomena which are
manifested in its vast underground water network, subterranean
lakes and stalactite encrusted caverns. Wherever you stay on
Kefalonia, it is easy to visit the centrally located caves of Droga-
rati and the underground lake of Melisani.

Anthy Beach, Fiscardo
Fiscardo's centre is just a short stroll away.

Overview
Anthy's Beach Apartments are modern and comfortable with private balconies

erna open in high season.
