Kurt Reichinger is Head of Technical Dept. at the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecoms. Current areas of interest include Next Generation Networks, Broadband Access and Fixed-Mobile-Issues. Kurt is active member of both Independent and European Regulators Group (IRG / ERG) dealing with Next Generation Networks, VoIP, Unbundling and Bitstreaming. Previously, Kurt was Director of International Networks Department at Telekom Austria. Kurt holds a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering both from Vienna University of Technology, Austria; in addition he received a diploma in Business Administration from Hagen University, Germany.
