2. Key duties/responsibilities for project officer

administration officials, and CUMC faculty and administration in meeting the
institutional needs of proposal review, submission, and administration;
2. Receive and perform institutional review of grant and contract proposals to ensure

submitted;
3. Assist researchers, faculty, and department administrators with electronic grant
preparation, submission to Grants.gov, and other electronic application venues;
4. Act as an official signatory on designated applications

resolve grant-related questions posed by researchers, faculty and staff;
6. Advise concerned parties of their responsibilities in meeting special or unusual
award requirements;
7. Function as liaison to federal and non-federal grantor agencies and subcontracting
institutions;
8. Provide support to department grant managers, administrators, and faculty;
9. Act as a resource for researchers, faculty and department administrators with
respect to updates and changes in regulations and policies of grant agencies;

3. Key job qualifications for project officer
