3. Introduction This course is a 3 years full time course, some colleges have a 4 year program which includes 1 year industrial training. The course is intended to provide practical hands-on understanding in the fundamental principles of operations and design of medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices (e.g.: heart monitors, cardiac defibrillators, etc.) Medical device-related standards and protocols, research and design methodologies, technology life-cycle management strategies, safe clinical practices, problem-solving skills, performance assurance-testing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques are all studied in this program.
4. Eligibility: Class 10 or equivalent with Minimum 50% in one sitting. Further Studies Options: One can also shift to BSc Other option is that one can shift to other disciplines of graduation like Bachelor in Commerce (BCom) etc. The recommended option would be to pursue Bachelor in Engineering (BE)/Bachelor in Technology (B. Tech of the options is based on Grades pursue BE/B Tech.) Career Prospects Entry Level jobs, More of maintenance type job profiles.
