2. About Posh Cakes & Cookies
We are based in Wittering, near Peterborough and Stamford. Our delicious range of freshly
home baked cakes, cookies, tray bakes, cupcakes, muffins, cake pops, cake
loaf and scones are hand-crafted.
All of our cakes and cookies are baked fresh to order, using only the finest ingredients
including premium butter and Fine Belgian chocolate. All cakes and cookies are free from
added preservatives, hydrogenated fats and are suitable for vegetarians. Altogether creating
a more wholesome cake for you to enjoy.
We offer next day delivery to anywhere in the UK using a courier or royal mail next day
delivery.
Ordering
You can use our online shop to place an order, alternatively please email or call us on
01780407576 with your order or any questions that you may have. We can take orders in
advance and you can specify which day you would like delivery. If you order before 6pm on
a working day, your order can be posted the following day after receipt of payment unless
you would prefer to delay the order to your desired day.
Payment
You can pay via Paypal in our online shop, or we can accept cash or cheque for deliveries
within Wittering on delivery and three miles radius of Wittering. For special orders not
listed in our online shop, we can send an electronic invoice via Paypal. Payment will need
to be received before goods are dispatched unless agreement has been reached to pay on
delivery. Please ensure that you pay promptly to prevent any delays with your order.

ingredients. The combination of fresh ingredients, traditional baking methods plus a
delicious hand-made American-style frosting really gives you the ultimate homemade

Not only do the cupcakes taste great, they look great. Every batch of cupcakes are baked
in quality cupcake cases, packaged in windowed cupcake boxes, tied with organza
ribbon.
The cost will depend on what flavour cupcake you're interested in and whether you want
any additional decoration/personalisation. Standard cupcakes start from £1.60 and

It is possible to mix flavours in multi-tiered wedding cakes and celebration cakes, but
whatever your selection it will be baked to your specifications and guaranteed to be
unforgettable. Cake tastings are available during your wedding cake consultation. Prices

A 2 tiered round cake with a simple design starts from:

 £295 (10” & 12” cakes)
A 3 tiered round cake with a simple design prices starts from:
 £260 (6”, 8” & 10” cakes)
 £305 (6”, 9” & 12” cakes)
Prices include delivery to Wittering, Stamford, Wansford, Peterborough, Market Deeping
and within a 30 mile radius of Wittering. A delivery charge will apply outside the area or
collection can be arranged by appointment.
We require a minimum of six months notice for wedding cakes. Call or email us to

17. Delivery
We offer free delivering for orders over £20.00 within 3 Mile Radius of Wittering. We
offer next day delivering by Royal Mail or DHL for delivery outside Wittering. UK
Postage (Excluding Personalised Cakes) is £6.00. Delivery is free for order over £80 to
anywhere in the UK.
Please note all personalised cake prices are inclusive of UK postage for delivery on a
nominated date and are NOT subject to the above price .The postage is calculated for
one delivery to one address. Multiple orders to different addresses have to be processed
to each individual address. Please allow 3 working days for cakes to arrive from date of
order. Please allow a longer delivery time during busy periods, i.e. Christmas.
The correct post code is vital for prompt delivery of your order. If you are unsure of your
postcode, call Royal Mail on this local-rate number, 08457 111222 between 9am and
5pm, or visit their website at www.royalmail.com
Nationwide deliveries are made using an overnight courier. This means that deliveries
are made on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only. Unfortunately we
cannot get cakes delivered on Mondays or weekends. For Posh Cakes and Cookies to be
liable for delivery all parcels must be signed for or at your own liability you can advise us
of alternative specific arrangements which we will pass onto the courier, leaving them on
the doorstep is not an option!
Personalised Cakes
Personalised birthday cakes are delivered on a Nominated Day to UK addresses only by
DHL Delivery service. Most items are delivered the next working day Tuesday to Friday.
Some areas in Scotland, Wales, Ireland & The CI will not be delivered the next day.
Overseas
All prices for overseas p&p are airmail rates.
For European deliveries the rate paid is inclusive of Airsure (£10.00 in addition to the
airmail postage rate.) This is a Royal Mail service that electronically tracks your parcel
allowing you to check the progress of your item and confirm it has been delivered. Please
contact us for the track and trace number.
For rest of the world the deliveries are made by DHL International. This service is
electronically tracked. Please contact us for the track and trace number and delivery
quote.
The Royal Mail aims to deliver to Europe in 3 working days and in 5 days for delivery
Worldwide.
UK & Overseas Postal Addresses
We do not take any responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly. Posh Cakes and
Cookies cannot be held responsible if the cakes have been misrouted or delayed by the
courier.
