This document discusses project execution and control. It explains that project execution utilizes prior plans and preparations to deal with unanticipated events while minimizing impacts. The purpose of execution is to construct the facility as commissioned while applying most resources. Execution concludes when the product is fully built, tested, accepted and transitioned to the client. At the end, all deliverables documented in the plan have been produced and the facility is handed over.

3. Project Execution and Control utilizes all the plans, programmes,
procedures, and templates that were prepared and anticipated during prior
work. Unanticipated events and situations will inevitably be encountered,
and the Project Manager and Project Team will be taxed to capacity to deal
with them while minimizing the negative impact on the project’s Triple
Constraints.

4. The purpose of Project Execution and Control is to construct the
facility that the project was commissioned to deliver.
Typically, this is the longest part of the project management lifecycle,
where most resources are applied.
The conclusion of Project Execution and Control arrives when the
product of the project is fully constructed, commissioned, accepted,
and transitioned to the Client.
