  6. 6. 6 www.eo4agri.eu Towards a Knowledge Hub on Agriculture EO4Agri enlarges and further systematizes the knowledge about Copernicus for agriculture • Identify User driven requirements and demands • 4 different sectors are considered • AgroFood Industry • Financial Sector • Public Sector • Food and Nutrition Security • Currently around 75 detailed and specific user requirements were identified

  10. 10. 10 www.eo4agri.eu Summary • The EO4AGRI Project combines multiple stakeholder opinions and technical facts in careful investigations and assessments • Main motivation is game changer Copernicus (high cadence satellite observations, Full free and open data availability) • Utility of associated platforms and infrastructure (DIAS; processing engines, algorithms, AI & ML; data cubes) • Awareness about many downstream Agri-Applications • EO4AGRI Stakeholders to which state-of-the-art and independent decision aid is provided: • Public Sector (CAP Paying Agencies; RTD programmes) • Farmers (Advisors); Agro-food Industry; Providers of machinery and fertilizers • Financial Investors; Insurances; Banks • Players in Global Food Security Programmes • Developed a methodology to continuosly monitor gaps • Engagement tools • Knowledge Hub • Inform the development process of new programmes, such as Copernicus, • Policy making • Strategic reseach agenda
