The Electoral College
 How many electoral votes does each state
  get?
 1 for every House of Representative member
 1 for each Senator
 OH - 16 Reps + 2 Senators = 18 Electoral
  Votes
 538 Total Votes
 Need 270 to win the Presidency
 The Democratic and Republican parties elect
  “electors” for district in the state
 These electors actually cast the electoral
  voters for the state
 When you vote, you are really voting a party’s
  elector
 How does one win the Presidency?
 The party that wins the most popular votes in
 a state wins all of the electoral votes for that
 state
