A selection of recent works on canvas
Philippe F. Nault is an abstract painter whose work is represented
internationally. Born in France in 1948, and after living successively in Paris,
London, and New Orleans, Nault found a deep well of personal and artistic
inspiration in Hawaii, where he moved permanently in 1992. His paintings
essentially address the perception of the primeval forces of nature in motion,
such as ocean swell, lava flows, and atmospheric currents.
