In 2007, I became the youngest city councilor in the town of Kortenberg, Belgium. Elected for the Flemish Green Party, Groen, I soon started working with fellow Greens to support and extend our online presence. Today, the GroenWEB network already covers over 200 local chapters. I set up the national Groen Twitter account and manage the national Facebook page. On a European level, I’m working with the European Green Party supporters network to set up a social media presence and work out a communication strategy.
