Our Project Management Methodology
Eclipsys leverages Oracle’s Unified Methodology (OUM) for project management. OUM provides a collection of best practices for
program management, which are organized as a series. of processes or workflows that can be assembled and scaled to achieve various
information technology related business objectives. At the same time, Eclipsys recognizes that organizations may have an existing
project management methodology in place. Eclipsys can utilize OUM as a standalone framework, in conjunction with an existing
framework, or select aspects of OUM to complement an existing framework.
The key OUM processes that are critical to a successful implementation are:

Eclipsys Solutions offers a Loaner Program so that you can test Oracle’s best in class hardware before
you buy it! The program comes equipped with our professional end-to-end services including:
Preprovisioning and Configuration
We wipe customer data, reset passwords, reinstall and reload firmware and operating systems to the latest patch levels and retest the
units before shipment.We preprovision your unit with important information like your network info so that there is no wasted time or
frustration when the unit hits your dock.
Shipping
We provide Eclipsys shipping containers that provide improved shock resistance, weather resistance and portability and take care of the
logistics to get it to and from your facility.
Orientation Service
We offer on-site Orientation Services including a product overview, features review, and hands-on training to deploy it in your
infrastructure, and demonstrate the principle operations and maintenance tasks. Our Orientation Services are very popular for our Oracle
Database Appliance (ODA), and help get our customers up and running quickly.
Support
We provide you with a quick-start document after orientation and provide remote end-to-end support during the entire loaner process.
