2. 1. Team Vision: Assist the Pastor in forming disciples in St. Monica Parish to become apostles
of Jesus Christ. We will maintain a focus so that parishioners and non-
parishioners alike come to understand that they:
• Are Called by Name
• Are Gifted by God
• Must be Committed to Prayer
• Must be Driven to Serve Others
• Are Called to Abide and Spread in Hope.
2. Team Purpose
Statement:
If St. Monica is a community on a pilgrimage to a sacred place, inviting all to
walk with us as we:
• Discover Jesus in our lives,
• Understand our life's purpose,
• Develop a personal relationship with Christ,
• Enrich our local community,
• Impact the whole world,
.. then the PPC reads the “Signs of the Times” to discern how this is to be
done concretely. The PPC prays, listens, discerns. The PPC does not
implement.
3. Team Values: Value: Nemo dat, quod non habet
Behaviors:
• Live the “Signs of a Dynamic Catholic:
o Prayer - daily (30 minutes minimum)

o Evangelization – talk about the church, Pope, parish, etc…
to one person each week
o Contribute – to the parish and/or other charities
Value: Evangelization
