How To Apply for Pick.Click.Give. in 2016 - Powerpoint
1. Online Application Process

To begin the application click “Info for Nonprofits”.

2. Pick.Click.Give. Online Application
• To begin the application visit
http://www.pickclickgive.org
• Click on “Info for Nonprofits”. A link to the
application is on the left side.
3. Pick.Click.Give. Online Application
• On the application page you will be presented
with two choices:
o I received an email with a login email & password.
o I did not receive an email with a login email &
password.
• If you received an email, choose the first option
and insert your EIN, email and Password.
• If not, select the second option and insert your
EIN, email and IRS Registered name.

5. Pick.Click.Give. Online Application
• After you log in, a record of your 2016 application will
be inserted in our database.
• The application consists of 9 steps and will take you
about 15 minutes to complete
• An email with your login information will be sent to the
address you inserted. This email will contain your
password should you need to return at a later date to
change or complete the application.
• Note: If you cannot answer all the questions and need
to return at a later date to complete the application,
click the CANCEL button in the top right corner.
6. Step 1: Contact Information
• On the first screen you will be asked for your
organizations contact information.
• You will need to insert the following:
o IRS Registered Name, Common Name & EIN
o Mailing Address (Headquarters or Main Office)
o Physical Address (Headquarters or Main Office)
o Primary Contact Information
o Secondary Contact Information
9. Step 2: Types & Programs
• On the second screen you must select your
organization type and the programs you offer.
• You will need to:
– Select proper organization type (Community
Foundation, Educational Organization or Charitable
Organization)
– Verify that your organization provides programs, aids, or
services in Alaska.
– Check the applicable active program(s) your organization
provides.
– Verify you provided programs, aids, or services in Alaska
during the entire calendar years ending 2013 and 2014.

12. Step 3: Qualification Questions
• On the third screen you must answer yes or no to 7
questions that will determine your eligibility.
• These questions cover topics such as contributions
from unrestricted funding, is your board of
directors voluntary, what percentage of annual
receipts is voluntary, and if a financial audit of your
organization is required by the federal government.
• If you answer a question that determines you are not
eligible a note will appear that reads: "STOP - Your
organization does not qualify."
14. Step 4: Additional Locations
• Note: This step is optional.
• Insert additional locations where your
organization is physically located and
maintains an ongoing operation that provides
a qualifying program, aids, or services.
• Provide only one (1) address in each location
(city, town, or village) where qualifying
services are actively provided in Alaska.
• Physical Address Only (No P.O. Box).
16. Step 5: Documents
• The online application will automatically
determine what documents you must provide
based on your answers in step 3.
• If you have any of the files in electronic format,
you may upload them on the documents page.
• If you do not have electronic copies, you can skip
this step by pressing next at the bottom of this
page.
• Note: if you do not submit electronic copies you
must mail all the documents with your completed
application and payment.
20. Step 6: Certification
• In this step you must insert the names who
will certify your application.
• We prefer this application to be certified by
the Board Chair and the Chief Executive of the
organization, however if they are unavailable
any two board members will suffice.
• On the final screen you will be presented with
a page that must be printed and signed by the
names you insert.

• On this page you will be presented with
optional fields that will be displayed on your
organization profile page.
• For examples of what other organizations
have inserted visit PickClickGive.org and view
organizations.

25. Step 8: Confirmation
• On this page you will be presented with a list of
steps you must complete in order to be
considered eligible.
• You must complete these steps no later than
March 31, 2015.
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and review the
application.
• If you have corrections please click the Make
Changes button to correct information.
• If everything is correct, please click Submit
Application.
28. Step 9: Print & Mail
• After you press “Submit Application” you will
be taken to the final page.
• Print this final page and submit it with your
required documents, certification signatures
(in the area provided) and $250
nonrefundable fee.
