· A spider life cycle consists of the following events: a spider
makes an egg sac, young spiders grow from eggs in the
egg sac, the spiders hatch and break out of the sac, young
spiders grow into adults and produce offspring of their own.
· The three-stage insect life cycle (incomplete
metamorphosis) includes egg, nymph, and adult. The
nymphs of many insects, such as grasshopppers, look like
their parents. However, the nymphs of some insects, such
as dragonflies, differ greatly from their parents.
