Brand verification is required to provide better visibility and a safer platform to your catalogue
category in which you are dealing, the documents which are required for brand registration and
verification-
Trademark certificate
• Trademark certificate is a certificate provided by the government to the seller to sell their product
• You must have the authorization letter of existing brand in which you are dealing
• Trademark certificate will help you to protect from brand copyright
• Authorization Letter is provided either from brand or National /Regional Authorized Distributor
• Invoice slip of purchased product along with Authorization Letter needs to be submitted
• Invoice should not be more than 50 days ,in bulk quantity and for mobiles IMEI no must be mention on
invoices

6. Guidelines for Uploading & Selling a Brand
You should not include “Gender” (like Men’s T-shirt, lady’s Kurta) in brand name
You can sell any brand for which you have trademark certificate/ Brand Authorization Letter
Brand name will be displayed as on trademark certificate shared
You need to share brand name along with the trademark certificate via Support Tab
Non availability of Trademark needs to submit a declaration on company’s letter head
You will be informed in case your request for brand uploading is rejected

7. Brand
• If your Brand name is similar to other brand name, either on Paytm Mall, legally not authorized to sell that brand
• If You fail to provide trademark certificate/authorization letter/declaration when asked by our team
• You can only use your own logo, signs or brand name (for which you are authorized) in product images
• You cannot use images which promotes other e-commerce portals or social networking sites. However you can
upload images from Zovi, Abof and Yepme which are general or available for your brand

• If front shot of the product is missing
• If you missed to upload the images in white background
• If Image is blur or hazy
• Images that can hurt religious sentiments
• Image containing porn content
