as well. To assist you in getting your product installed we have created this guide for you.

INSTALLATION STEPS
PLANNING:
 Begin by assessing how much artificial grass you will need.
 Mark off the area in which the artificial grass will be installed. Take note of which way
the turf will be rolled out. Always run the grain of the turf against any slopes.
 Determine which edging or curbing method will be used.
 Allow for drainage.
PREPARING YOUR AREA:
 Remove all grass, sod and mulch from the area in which the artificial grass will be laid.
 Be sure to mark around any trees and shrubs so that the artificial grass can be laid
properly. Leave enough area around trees to allow for growth.
COMPACTING OF THE SOIL
 Where the artificial grass will be installed, compact the soil with a hand roller.
 A geotextile may be needed if there are natural areas where water stands.

3. CONTRUCTING THE BASE
 Use the crushed stones and cover the area where the artificial grass will be installed.
 Compact them to 90%.
 Compact until the area is smooth.
 If there are uneven areas stone dust can be applied to those areas to even it out.
LAYING THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS
 Roll out the artificial grass to the area that you have prepared. In some cases it may take
several rolls to cover your area. If so, remember to roll the artificial grass in the same
direction so it aligns and matches with the grass flowing in the same direction.
SEAMING
 If you need to seam two pieces of grass rolls trim the edge of each piece so that they align
and match.
 Once you get them cut straight lay them adjacent to one another on the base. If you have
cut it properly then the seam will seem invisible.
 When you know you have it aligned just right pull back about 6” of the grass in order to
lay the seaming material (adhesive) underneath. You can apply a brick or weight to
seamed areas until the glue dries to hold it firmly in place.
 Lay the artificial grass back down so that it creates one seamless piece.
 Secure the artificial grass with either landscape staples or nails.
INFILL INSTALLATION
 Using a drop spreader spread infill to about ½” in depth.
 Once the infill is distributed you can use a brush to sweep any excess in to grass and to
help raise the fibers.
 If you will be edging then save infill for last after this has been done.
 Make sure that the infill fully covers the fibers. Not enough fill can cause the fibers to
push down quickly.
SECURING THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS AND FINALIZING INSTALLATION
 Securing the borders is often optional and a matter of preference. In most cases the
weight from the infill keeps the artificial grass in place.
 In many cases burying the seam along the edge is easy enough. Dig a small trench along
the edge and fold the edges into it and simply cover it back up.
CARING FOR YOUR ARTIFICIAL GRASS
 Routinely check the edges for weeds.
 Blow off and on with a leaf blower to remove any large debris.

4.  Rain will be the best maintenance as it will naturally wash the turf.
 Check a few weeks after installation for sinking spots where you may need more infill.
Do not apply extra infill while wet as it will clump.
 Cross brush occasionally to keep the fibers fresh.
