Apple's market share of its flagship product had a first double-digit decline in its first quarter. Year-on-year iPhone sales are down by 14 percent, while Chinese smartphone makers grabbed a impressive 17 percent market share.  Biometric authentication continues to evolve rapidly by adapting to social phenomenon. Mastercard just rolled out the "pay-by-selfie" in addition to the fingerprint option. Online-shoppers can now take a picture of themselves to verify their identity.  User of travel company Skyscanner have the option to chat with travel agents using Facebbook Messenger app to receive flight confirmations, boarding cards, reminders, flight status updates, and customer service. If you're not sure where you want to go Skyscanner can also recommend destinations. Amazon introduced a new version of its Dash Buttons, called the "Amazon Web Services Internet of Things Button" that not only allows customers to purchase products from Amazon but also complete tasks and services, including having it start a car, call a friend or activate an appliance.

end-to-end encryption, a focus since
2013 triggered by a global privacy
storm.
§ The encryption includes chats, group
chats, attachments, voice notes, and
voice calls.
§ WhatsApp users will also be able to
confirm the person they are chatting
with is the person by verifying the
authenticity of the encryption session
via scanning a QR code or reading a
number string.

airlines announced a partnership enabling
