Join us for a 4 week series starting tonight from 6:00-7:30 in the Youth Room as we consider the beauty of how God has produced, protected and preserved the Bible. We live in a world where pluralism seems to be the accepted way of life. The idea of absolutes are being doubted or rejected. This is true especially in the area of "religion" or any discussion of "how does one get to heaven?" followed by "by what standard would one have to know that his way is the best or the only way?" This topic considered by Dr. Sam Vinton, a missionary at heart with a love for the Scriptures and a love for God's people, will lead us in this important discussion. Our authority comes from the Word of God revealed in the written Word we each can own and read. Don't miss out on this great time of discussion and fellowship around the Bible and how it came to be. PARKSIDE BOOK COMMUNITY Plan to be part of Parkside’s Book Community and read “Artificial Maturity” this month by Tim Elmore. Today’s teens are overexposed to information at an earlier age than ever before and are underexposed to meaningful relationships and real-life experiences. This book gives parents, teachers, and others who work with youth a manual for understanding and practicing the leadership kids so desperately need to mature in a healthy fashion. The Group usually meets the last Wednesday of the month but due to Pastor Gary’s vacation, plan to join us on Wed., March 1, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the church for a book discussion in the Board Room. FOOD PANTRY For the month of February, we’re collecting “dry goods” for our food pantry. The drop off box is in the Fellowship Hall by the Children’s Ministry Counter.
