The term female foeticide
means killing the female
foetus in the mother's
womb.
The practice has been
followed in India for ages, a
country that once described
its women as godessess.

Girls are considered as financial obligation by
many parents.
Advancement in technology , nowadays parent
determines the sex of a child before birth.
Some of the doctors do this heinous act to fulfill
their money desire.

because He could not be present
everywhere.
But its unbelievable to realize that God’s
representatives is continuously killing
someone beautiful even before she can
come out and see the beauty of the
nature.
6. We Indians call our nation, Mother India and are
great devotees of Goddess in various
manifestations.
But we all are openly playing double standard
games with our country as well as our Goddess.
One end we say that we worship Maa
Saraswathi, Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi and at
the other end we are continuously destroying the
precious gift of nature, a girl child.

generation to stir a revolution for saving
the girl child.
We need to educate those educated as
well as the uneducated ignorants who
commits such crimes as female
infanticide.
Television, advertisements, movies, in
theater plays can influence people.

Satyamev Jayate highlighted it’s 1st
episode on
female foeticide which talked about 3 cases. It
was not from rural area but from urban city.
Strong action against the doctors who facilitate
female foeticide.
The government should implement stern policies
against this by removing the child sex recognizing
canters and banning their licenses.
The family who are involved in this act should be
fined with high cash amount and sent to the jail for a
minimum of 5years.
