4. • EN WINDOWS SERVER 2008, EL PROCESO DE INSTALACIÓN CONSISTE
ÚNICAMENTE EN DOS PASOS:
PASO1: RECOPILACIÓN DE INFORMACIÓN
• SELECCIÓN DEL SISTEMA OPERATIVO A INSTALAR
• TIPO DE INSTALACIÓN
• SELECCIÓN DE LA PARTICIÓN DE INSTALACIÓN
PASO2: INSTALACIÓN DE WINDOWS
• TAREAS:
• COPIA DE LOS ARCHIVOS A LA UNIDAD DE INSTALACIÓN
• EXPANSIÓN DE LOS ARCHIVOS
• INSTALACIÓN DE CARACTERÍSTICAS
• INSTALACIÓN DE ACTUALIZACIONES
• COMPLETAR INSTALACIÓN
Proceso de Instalación
17. DESCRIPCIÓN
En esta presentación mostraremos paso
a paso como se configura Windows
server 2008 con la función DHCP.
Mediante imágenes mostraremos como
se configura de manera correcta.
18. Al abrir el menú
inicio nos
desplazamos a la
función RED así
como se muestra
seleccionado en la
imagen.
19. Una vez aquí nos
dirigimos al centro
de redes y
recursos
compartidos y lo
seleccionamos.
38. Y por ultimo se indica
afuera que la función
esta instalada en el
sistema operativo.
39. AHORA PARA LA COMPROBACIÓN NECESITAREMOS UN CLIENTE DHCP EN
QUE NOSOTROS COMO SERVIDOR LE ASIGNAREMOS UNA IP EN EL RANGO.
COMO SE APRECIA EN LA IMAGEN NOS MUESTRA EL DOMINIO, MÍO DE
NUESTRO DOMINIO EN ESE CASO ES OPCIONAL LA INSTALACIÓN DE UN
DOMINIO.
40. CONCLUSIONES
• LOS SISTEMAS OPERATIVOS WINDOWS SERVER NT, WINDOWS SERVER 2003 Y WINDOWS
SERVER 2008 TIENEN LA CARACTERÍSTICA DE SER SISTEMA OPERATIVOS MULTITAREA,
MULTIPROCESO Y MULTIPROCESAMIENTO, INCORPORAN DE UNA FORMA ADECUADA LOS
DISPOSITIVOS DE ENTRADA Y SALIDA DE HARDWARE.
• · ESTÁN BASADOS EN EL NÚCLEO DE XP Y SUS ARCHIVOS SE BASAN EN SISTEMA DE ARCHIVOS
NTFS.
• · COMO TODOS ESTOS SISTEMAS SON PREDECESORES DE LOS SISTEMAS OPERATIVOS
WINDOWS TIENEN LA VENTAJA DE VER EVOLUCIONADO DE UNA MANERA MUY EFICIENTE YA QUE
LAS NECESIDADES DE UN SISTEMA OPERATIVO ANTERIOR PODRÍAN AYUDAR AL DISEÑO E
IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE NUEVOS MÓDULOS Y HERRAMIENTAS QUE LES PERMITIERAN SU MEJOR
RENDIMIENTO.
• · CADA SISTEMA OPERATIVO TRABAJA EN PLATAFORMAS DE CAPACIDADES DIFERENTES YA QUE
INDIVIDUALMENTE SUS PROCESOS Y MÓDULOS DEBEN BASARSE EN LAS TECNOLOGÍAS QUE EN
SU MOMENTO ESTABAN MÁS VIGENTES, DE IGUAL MANERA TENÍAN QUE TRABAJAR BAJO LAS
HERRAMIENTAS QUE LES PERMITÍA EL HARDWARE.

[BUILD2] And then comes Server Manager, which is a central management console for all server configuration. This is the dynamic systems initiative being realized. We've used the systems definition model and all of the potential roles that could be on a server, and mapped out the dependencies, the constraints, and what it means for that role to be healthy; and we've put them all into one common interface called Server Manager.
Server Manager provides a single source for managing a server's identity and system information, displaying server status and health, identifying problems with server role configuration, and managing all roles installed on the server.
Slide Transition: We’ll look at Server Manager in detail in the next demonstration.
