Information architecture is growing rapidly as a practice. This presentation takes statistics and data from popular card sorting tool OptimalSort and provides insight into who calls themselves an \"information architect\", where they are from, and what they are doing online. It shows which industries IAs come from, titles we give ourselves, most common first names of people in the profession and the most popular category labels created from a pool of 114,000 card sort participants.
