Missing Pieces
The Open Aid Partnership (OAP) brings together development partners, donors, civil society organizations, foundations, and private sector to improve aid transparency and effectiveness. The OAP aims at collecting and opening up local development data and engage citizens and all other stakeholders in evidence-based conversations on development.
Builds on the experiences from the Mapping Results Initiative where the World Bank mapped all of its projects. Also some other mapping projects and pilots.
IATI
Supporting Open Standards:The OAP works closely with the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and its partner institutions to define a standard on subnational aid reporting and supports partners in collecting and publishing sub- national data under IATI.
