The Challenge:
OCW’s mission is to openly share instructional materials created by MIT
faculty across the MIT curriculum.
OCW shares what happens on the MIT campus, including approaches to
pedagogy.
Many courses that distinguish the educational experience at MIT are
project-based, discussion-based, or otherwise involve active learning.
Increasingly, instructors engage students in helping shape what happens in
class.
How can OCW represent this side of the MIT curriculum with the world?

  • 5. The Challenge: OCW’s mission is to openly share instructional materials created by MIT faculty across the MIT curriculum. OCW shares what happens on the MIT campus, including approaches to pedagogy. Many courses that distinguish the educational experience at MIT are project-based, discussion-based, or otherwise involve active learning. Increasingly, instructors engage students in helping shape what happens in class. How can OCW represent this side of the MIT curriculum with the world?
