Pests come in all shapes and sizes, leaving anyone vulnerable to their presence, and Pennsylvania is
no exception. Bucks County, PA is full of bugs and other unwanted critters. Thanks to the experts at
Cooper Pest Solutions, you can worry-free know that our professional technicians are only a phone
call away.
divbr /
As the seasons change, so do the pests you have to look out for. Some go into hiding during the
summer or over-winter once the temperatures drop. Being informed helps you identify and prevent
pests you may encounter year-round.br /
nbsp;br /
strongWinter: nbsp;/strongThe most common in-home disturbance during the winter are mice. Mice
seek shelter in the winter from the frost. As their food supply dies off in the cold, so do their chances
of survival. Your home can be the perfect breeding ground for mice to feed, stay warm, and
reproduce. Look out for pellet-shaped droppings and small tears in your cereal boxes or other pantry
items.
divbr /
strongSpring: nbsp;/strongAs the snow thaws, pests that you may have forgotten about start to
resurface. One of the most common pests in spring time are carpenter bees and termites. While both
pests are attracted to wood, the main difference is that the carpenter bees only cause aesthetic
damage and do not damage the structure of your home like termites.br /
br /
/div
divstrongSummer: nbsp;/strongMosquitoes and Wasps are usually the first pests to come to mind
when you think about the summer. Mosquitoes usually breed around bodies of water but have been
known to lurk anywhere after they are born.nbsp;/div
divbr /
strongEarly fall: nbsp;/strongYellow jackets are one of the most common pests in the early fall. They
can be identified by the yellow and black stripes along their bodies. Aggressive in nature, yellow
jackets are known to painfully sting humans. To avoid encountering yellow jackets, avoid wearing
brightly colored clothing and strong perfume.nbsp;/div

pstrongspan style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%;"What is the difference between Carpenter
Ants and Termites?/span/strong/p
p /p
pCarpenter ants can be a nuisance in the Newtown PA area. Especially in the spring when these
pests emerge and your property and home becomes susceptible to infestations. Carpenter ants form
colonies and attack damp wood to breed and thrive. This means your deck, fencing, and g class="gr_

work/g can be destroyed once the winter leaves and the dry air turns into humid conditions and
rain./p
p /p
pTermites, just like carpenter ants, are attracted to wood. They seek out anything from plant debris
to damage on the outside of your home. Termites are especially destructive because of their ability
to tunnel and bring back destroyed wood to their colonies. This makes them hard to track down and
impossible to eliminate by yourself./p

pThere is nothing in steel wool that repels mice. However, it will keep them from getting into cracks
and crevices in your home. It is an easy preventative measure anyone can implement at their NJ or
Bucks County PA home. Simply go to your local hardware, grocery, or wholesale store and buy some
steel wool. Walknbsp;around your house and look for any holes or cracks that a mouse might
squeeze into and stuff the openings with the steel wool. Unlike drywall or other materials, mice have
a very hard time chewing through the steel wool making it the perfect filler. Common areas, which
should be filled in with steel wool include corners of unfinished basements, the perimeter of crawl
spaces, and utility entry points such as plumbing pipes./p

pCooper Pest ndash; Friday, December 12, 2014/p
pTherersquo;s never a good time to notice you have a cockroach problem, but the holidays pose a
whole new issue ndash; visitors. And cockroaches are the last thing you want your visitors to
encounter. While itrsquo;s not a fun situation to be in, our pest control experts can help when you
are in need./p
pHow did they get there? Thatrsquo;s usually the first question on everyonersquo;s mind. Cockroach
infestations typically begin when someone brings an infested item into a building or home, such as a
grocery bag, a box or maybe one even hitched a ride on your purse or coat. Once they are in, the
problem can escalate quickly because they reproduce many new generations in a short period. And
letrsquo;s not forget to mention that your house is a fantastic breeding ground and home for them
because itrsquo;s warm, and there are food and water nearby. /p
pThe most common type of cockroach is the German Cockroach. What gives German cockroaches an
especially bad reputation is their ability to run quickly and hide, and stink up your home. The
scariest thing about a German cockroach infestation is that they commonly carry several diseases
such as E.coli and Salmonella. Be sure to always keep warm, moist areas such as your bathroom and
kitchen meticulously clean to avoid their horrible presence. /p
pSo just how can Cooper Pest Solutions help with your pest control problem in NJ? Being very
knowledgeable in pests of all kind, especially cockroaches, we know just where they like to hide and
how to rid your house of them quickly and easily. And the key is to rid the house of them as fast as
possible because they can spread illness and aggravate allergies and asthma, especially in children
prone to such issues.nbsp; We understand that this is a concerning problem, so we do our best to get
to you within a day of your call. And once we get rid of your freeloading pests, our service is
guaranteed to keep them away. If you suspect that you have a cockroach problem, please donrsquo;t
hesitate to call our expert technicians for the best pest control NJ amp; PA can offer./p

business-of-the-yearTue, 09 Dec 2014 16:15:00 GMTFlea control in NJ and PApDo you own a dog or
cat? If so you probably already know the dangers that fleas can impose on your pets and family. Pest
control is becoming more and more valuable when problems such as flea infestations are taking over
your home. /p
pFleas originate anywhere outdoors where there are high temperatures and moisture. This means
crawl spaces, mud, and grass are ideal breeding grounds for these nasty creatures. They then
spread by laying nearly 50 eggs per day everywhere that they travel. But whatrsquo;s the problem
with fleas? /p
pFleas are tiny parasites that feed solely on the blood of a live host. They live for the chance to bite
and cling on to your dog. Fleas inflict harm by constantly biting, leaving the animal itching and
irritated. Jumping up to 6 inches in the air, fleas tend to infect an animal, lay eggs, and then move on
to the nearest animal in sight. This can quickly spiral into mass chaos just from one walk around the
block with your pet. /p
pThe problem doesnrsquo;t stop with your pet. Once fleas enter your home, they are nearly
impossible to remove. Their uncanny ability to rapidly reproduce can also affect humans. Fleas seek
out the blood of a live host, whether it be an animal or human. Effective pest control NJ can help
reduce your flea infestation./p
pThe first step to preventing fleas from entering your home is treating your pet with preventative
medication. There are several companies that manufacture medication that specifically targets flea
prevention. If you already have a flea problem, make sure to call the pest control NJ specialists at
Cooper Pest Solutions. We will dispatch a skilled technician to treat the affected areas of your home.
Simultaneously, your pet must receive a flea dip to kill all of the fleas currently hosting on their skin.

p class="MsoNormal"The
last thing that any homeowner wants to hear is, ldquo;You have a mouse problem.rdquo;
Just thinking of mice makes most people cringe. The reality is, mice are not
just childish pranks and scary Halloween decorations, span class="GramE"they/span
can put your home at a serious risk for destruction. Our rodent control NJ
experts are prepared to take on the task of protecting your home from even the
worst mouse infestation./p
p class="MsoNormal"As the cold fall and winter months approach, mice seek out
warm places to nest. That means they can sneak in through small holes and
cracks around the foundation of your home to find shelter and food. These pests
can also enter your house through exhaust pipes, bathroom vents, faulty siding,
and chewing holes through your roofing. Once they are inside, they rapidly
breed and multiply, making it near impossible to take on the infestation
yourself. By the time you spot a mouse, it is likely already too late for a
store bought remedy./p
p class="MsoNormal"Below, our rodent control NJ specialists answer our most
commonly asked questions to help you identify and deal with potential mouse
problems this fall and winter./p
p class="MsoNormal"strongQ: How can I tell if
I have a mouse problem?o:p/o:p/strong/p
p class="MsoNormal"strongA: /strongMice are
nocturnal creatures, which means they are most active at night. Do you hear
gnawing, scratching, or squeaking in the walls or ceiling? Mice can often
burrow into walls and make nests in your attic, making the most noise at night.
Are there small holes and visible evidence of chewing in your Tupperware,
cereal boxes, and other food items? Do you see small droppings or urine? Mice eat
up to 20 times per day and produce up to 100 droppings per day, strongeach/strong. /p
p class="MsoNormal"strongQ: What damage can
they do?o:p/o:p/strong/p
p class="MsoNormal"strongA: /strongMice are known
to contaminate and poison your pantry once they break in by defecating and
urinating directly into your food. They are also known carriers of several
diseases, which can affect your family and loved ones. Mice love to gnaw on
anything they can find, which can escalate to disaster very quickly if they
chew through wiring./p
p class="MsoNormal"o:pnbsp;/o:p/p
p class="MsoNormal"For the next several months, Mice are the biggest pest
problem for homeowners in the NJ and PA area. If you would like to keep mice
out of your home or get rid of mice, please donrsquo;t hesitate to call the rodent
control NJ professionals at Cooper Pest Solutions. span class="msoIns"ins

GMTBed Bug Sniffing DogspIn recent years, the spread of bed bugs has become a worldwide
problem, and is considered to be one of the hardest pests to control. nbsp;It is an issue that can be
exhausting and cause an extreme amount of stress if left untreated. nbsp;Given that a bed bug
invasion can be greatly taxing in many aspects, homeowners should expect a great amount of care
being put into the detection and treatment of the invaders. nbsp; Many different methods have been
invoked to detect and treat bed bugs, but a particularly popular one is a bed bug sniffing dog.
nbsp;/p
pIn 2008, the University of Florida Entomology department did a controlled experiment with dogs to
determine their effectiveness and accuracy. nbsp; The report concluded that the dogs had a 97.5
percent positive indication rate, with no false positives. nbsp;It also concluded that if properly
trained, dogs can be effective at detecting live bed bugs and viable bed bug eggs. nbsp; While that
may sound like a ringing endorsement for their widespread use, commercially they are not the best
tool for detecting bed bugs. nbsp; The experiment in Florida was controlled, and in the commercial
environment there are many other factors that the dog could be reacting to that result in a false
positive or no detection at all. nbsp;/p
pAlso, there is no regulation or certification for dog trainers to follow. Hence, some may be better
suited than others in the detection of bed bugs. nbsp;In a residential setting, the degree to which
they are reliable varies greatly, but almost never as accurate as advertised. nbsp;So if you are
presented with different bed bug treatment options, make sure you nbsp;ask questions and do your
research to ensure that you are receiving the best treatment possible./p

Bucks County, PA is full of bugs and other unwanted critters. Thanks to the experts at Cooper Pest Solutions, you can worry-free know that our professional technicians are only a phone call away. divbr / As the seasons change, so do the pests you have to look out for. Some go into hiding during the summer or over-winter once the temperatures drop. Being informed helps you identify and prevent pests you may encounter year-round.br / nbsp;br / strongWinter: nbsp;/strongThe most common in-home disturbance during the winter are mice. Mice seek shelter in the winter from the frost. As their food supply dies off in the cold, so do their chances of survival. Your home can be the perfect breeding ground for mice to feed, stay warm, and reproduce. Look out for pellet-shaped droppings and small tears in your cereal boxes or other pantry items. divbr / strongSpring: nbsp;/strongAs the snow thaws, pests that you may have forgotten about start to resurface. One of the most common pests in spring time are carpenter bees and termites. While both pests are attracted to wood, the main difference is that the carpenter bees only cause aesthetic damage and do not damage the structure of your home like termites.br / br / /div divstrongSummer: nbsp;/strongMosquitoes and Wasps are usually the first pests to come to mind when you think about the summer. Mosquitoes usually breed around bodies of water but have been known to lurk anywhere after they are born.nbsp;/div divbr /

However, it will keep them from getting into cracks and crevices in your home. It is an easy preventative measure anyone can implement at their NJ or Bucks County PA home. Simply go to your local hardware, grocery, or wholesale store and buy some steel wool. Walknbsp;around your house and look for any holes or cracks that a mouse might squeeze into and stuff the openings with the steel wool. Unlike drywall or other materials, mice have a very hard time chewing through the steel wool making it the perfect filler. Common areas, which should be filled in with steel wool include corners of unfinished basements, the perimeter of crawl spaces, and utility entry points such as plumbing pipes./p pIf you are having issues with Mice and Rodents and need a professional, we're here to help. And cockroaches are the last thing you want your visitors to encounter. While itrsquo;s not a fun situation to be in, our pest control experts can help when you are in need./p pHow did they get there? Thatrsquo;s usually the first question on everyonersquo;s mind. Cockroach infestations typically begin when someone brings an infested item into a building or home, such as a grocery bag, a box or maybe one even hitched a ride on your purse or coat. Once they are in, the problem can escalate quickly because they reproduce many new generations in a short period. And letrsquo;s not forget to mention that your house is a fantastic breeding ground and home for them because itrsquo;s warm, and there are food and water nearby. /p pThe most common type of cockroach is the German Cockroach. What gives German cockroaches an especially bad reputation is their ability to run quickly and hide, and stink up your home. The scariest thing about a German cockroach infestation is that they commonly carry several diseases such as E.coli and Salmonella. Be sure to always keep warm, moist areas such as your bathroom and kitchen meticulously clean to avoid their horrible presence. /p pSo just how can Cooper Pest Solutions help with your pest control problem in NJ? Being very knowledgeable in pests of all kind, especially cockroaches, we know just where they like to hide and how to rid your house of them quickly and easily. If so you probably already know the dangers that fleas can impose on your pets and family. Pest control is becoming more and more valuable when problems such as flea infestations are taking over your home. /p pFleas originate anywhere outdoors where there are high temperatures and moisture. This means crawl spaces, mud, and grass are ideal breeding grounds for these nasty creatures. They then spread by laying nearly 50 eggs per day everywhere that they travel. But whatrsquo;s the problem with fleas? /p pFleas are tiny parasites that feed solely on the blood of a live host. They live for the chance to bite and cling on to your dog. Fleas inflict harm by constantly biting, leaving the animal itching and irritated. Jumping up to 6 inches in the air, fleas tend to infect an animal, lay eggs, and then move on to the nearest animal in sight. This can quickly spiral into mass chaos just from one walk around the block with your pet. /p pThe problem doesnrsquo;t stop with your pet. Once fleas enter your home, they are nearly impossible to remove. Their uncanny ability to rapidly reproduce can also affect humans. Fleas seek out the blood of a live host, whether it be an animal or human. Effective pest control NJ can help reduce your flea infestation./p pThe first step to preventing fleas from entering your home is treating your pet with preventative medication. There are several companies that manufacture medication that specifically targets flea prevention. If you already have a flea problem, make sure to call the pest control NJ specialists at Cooper Pest Solutions. We will dispatch a skilled technician to treat the affected areas of your home. Simultaneously, your pet must receive a flea dip to kill all of the fleas currently hosting on their skin. /p pLearn more about fleas and our treatment options by visiting our a href="http://www.cooperpest.com/pests/fleas"flea page/a./p http://www.cooperpest.com/RSSRetrieve.aspx?ID=13837A=LinkObjectID=566984ObjectType=56O =http%253a%252f%252fwww.cooperpest.com%252fblog%252ffleashttp://www.cooperpest.com/blog /fleasMon, 10 Nov 2014 16:23:00 GMTTaking the Bite Out of the Holidayspspan style="font-size: 18pt; text-transform: uppercase; font-family: 'sans serif', serif; color: #3789b9;"TAKING THE BITE OUT OF THE HOLIDAYS - FREE BED BUG CHARITY/span/p p style="line-height: 16.8pt;"strongspan style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: #464646;"By The BedBug Central Team - 11/06/2014/span/strong/p p style="margin: 7.5pt 0in; line-height: 16.8pt;"strongspan style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: #464646;"Applications are Now Being Accepted For Free Bed Bug Services /span/strong/p p style="margin: 7.5pt 0in; line-height: 16.8pt;"emspan style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial,

Hence, some may be better suited than others in the detection of bed bugs. nbsp;In a residential setting, the degree to which they are reliable varies greatly, but almost never as accurate as advertised. nbsp;So if you are presented with different bed bug treatment options, make sure you nbsp;ask questions and do your research to ensure that you are receiving the best treatment possible./p http://www.cooperpest.com/RSSRetrieve.aspx?ID=13837A=LinkObjectID=538632ObjectType=56O =http%253a%252f%252fwww.cooperpest.com%252fblog%252fbed-bug-sniffi- g-dogshttp://www.cooperpest.com/blog/bed-bug-sniffing-dogsWed, 24 Sep 2014 04:00:00 GMTPest Control Essex County NJpPests have the potential of causing significant damage to both residential and commercial properties within Essex County NJ.
