  2. 2. What is Appreciative Inquiry? <ul><li>Appreciative Inquiry is about the co-evolutionary search for the best in people, their organization, and the relevant world around them. (David Cooperrider) </li></ul><ul><li>Appreciative Inquiry (AI) , can in danish be translated to 'værdsættende undersøgelse'. </li></ul><ul><li>AI is both a communication therory and a communication tool. </li></ul>

What does Appreciative Inquiry mean? <ul><li>Appreciative: </li></ul><ul><li>1) To appreciate and understand what gives life and meaning. </li></ul><ul><li>2) To grow/increase in value (i.e.”the house has appreciated in value”) </li></ul><ul><li>Inquiry: </li></ul><ul><li>1) To explore and discover. </li></ul><ul><li>2) To be curious and open for new possibilities. </li></ul>
