Who are the major player
Google App Engine • Can deploy your own applications • Can monitory the usage • Already has some great Apps – Gmail – Documents – Groups – Etc etc.
WSO2 Stratos • A platform as a service • Multiple Services • Can be metered • Billed on usage • Can scale up or down
Now • Huge for Small and Medium Businesses • Data is kept locally • IaaS is not so reliable • Thought twice for enterprise usecases
Future • Enterprise adoption • More Security • More on Governance
