a chance
and for dynamic maps
2. This weekend / next summer / next days... I’ve got free time!!
What can I do?
Where can I look for it?5
1 with whom?
2 when?
3 What kind of activities?
4 where?
Let’s look for on
the web world...
Before doing that,
I should ask
myself some
questions about
my preferences...
3. until now...
1. I select whith whom...
2. I check where I could find it on the web world...
3. I check when my kind of like-activities are...
I’m always updated about my preferences... or
I try to have luck!
And then, I check if results fit with my agenda
and if they fit with my mobility area...
8. And then, the key questions:
Does it match with my agenda? How long does it
take me to arrive there? The following weekend’s better
for us, but what activity will there be then? And what
about if I choose another area to go? What activities will
Bingo!!! I’ve found an option!!
This weekend there are many nature activities for kids in Pirenées area...
I’ve been lucky!
9. Solution:
chronogeolocation
I don’t need to be always update...
and I don’t need to be lucky!
It’s easy: I just look for in 1 site!
I select my theme site depending on my interest (for eg. MIT calendar
or “time out” calendar for families) and I find everything there...
10. The new key question:
What can I do? What can I do the days xxx in xxxx area?
Days of the year
11. The new key question:
it doesn’t match with my needs... What about if I change
days?
I move the hand
looking for new
dates... I get a
different
dynamic map!
12. Days of the year
And what can the agenda be
about? About any kind of
activity!!! music (or even just jazz
activities), Sixto Rodriguez
concerts, innovation or TED
calendar, nature activities,
Thermomix demonstrations...
Where can the agenda
be from?
From any place of the
world!! Europe,
Catalonia, the world, la
Garrotxa, Soho...
The new key question:
What can I do? What can I do the days xxx in xxxx area?
13. Type of music
Let’s define/refine a bit more:
too many musical activities! I’d
just like jazz concerts (nor rock, nor classical, etc.)
Now I change the
filter. I don’t change
only dates, but also aI
have a new option:
would you like to
refine a bit more? I
can change new filters
(type of music, by free
or payment, alone /
couple / family...)
14. Let’s define/refine a bit more :
Now I’ve chosen rock
concerts in Europe
(more or less in
august). When I select
a “pin” it appears a
window (like in the
APP “BCN design
tour”)
Type of music
Let’s have fun!
Date: 2013/08/18
band: Rolling Stones
City: Warsaw
Place: Sports hall
+ info:
Warsaw festival
I click on what I’m interested in!!! + info!!
15. Why don’t we rethink
calendars?
Let’s have fun!
It would be fab to have maps with 2 scales:
* Chronogeolocation. places + time;
* or preferences-geolocation: places + any other filter
