PRAYER OF FAITH
JAMES 5:13-15

2. INTRODUCTION
Christ bore both our sins and
our sicknesses in Himself on
the cross, so there is
forgiveness and healing for all
who will accept them by faith.
(Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5)

3. JAMES 5:13-15
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him
pray, is anyone cheerful? Let him sing
psalms.
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call
for the elders of the church and let them
pray over him, anointing him with oil in
the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick
and the Lord will raise him up…

OF FAITH
1. Your prayer of faith is
rooted in our confidence in
God’s Word.
2. Your prayer of faith is
knowing God’s will, praying
and receiving it from Him.

3. Your prayer of faith is praying the
Word.
Isaiah 55:11…God respond to
His own Word and it will not return
to Him void.
Jeremiah 1:12…I’m watching my
Word to fulfillment…

6. ILLUSTRATION
>Mark 5:25-29…the woman with
the issue of blood for 12 years
knew that touching Jesus would
get her healed.
> Her faith gave her the strength
to press thru the crowd.

7. HINDRANCES OF
PRAYER OF FAITH
1. unforgiveness. Mark 11:25…kapag
kayo’y mananalangin, patawarin muna
ninyo ang nagkasala sa inyo upang
ipatawad din naman sa inyo ang inyong
kasalanan…
2. doubt/double minded. James 1:7-8..
huwag umasang tatanggap ng anuman
mula sa Panginoon ang taong pabagu-
