3. Selected Genre “POP”
 Pop music originated in the 1950’s deriving from
rock and roll. As music genre is very broad and often
including urban, dance, rock, Latin and country.
There are many bands who come under this genre
are: The Beatles, Backstreet Boys, One Direction.
There are many singers who are related to this genre
are: Elvis Presley, Elton John, Michael Jackson,
Bruno Mars, Beyonce and many more. I have
selected this genre because of my interest towards
this and mainly I love Michael Jackson because his
music made the whole world love him. This genre
makes my mood happy and pumped.

5. Pop (Final Decision)
 Pop rock is a sub genre of pop music, it has the pop
style with light lyrics. Its originated in the 1960’s in
UK and USA. The typical instruments used in this
are electric guitar, bass guitar, drums. The artists
which made this genre famous are: Elton John, Paul
McCartney, The Everly Brothers, Rod Stewart,
Chicago and Peter Frampton. There are some songs
which are of this genre, which I like personally:
Diamonds (Rihanna), Love Never Felt so
Good(Justin Timberlake), Bang Bang (will.i.am),
much more.

6. Music
 The music used in the genre is very enthusiastic and
which makes people in a good mood. Nowadays this
genre has become very wide and its with very new
variations. The lyrics and the music is mainly to
pump the listeners.

7. Lyrics
 Lyrics of pop songs are very fun loving and make the
people dance. Pop songs lyrics are romantic and
enthusiastic. Lyrics is actually the story of the video
e.g. it can be anything happening in the video.

8. Mise en Scene
 Mise en Scene includes the things which makes the
video or picture more realistic. The mise en scene of
the video depends on the lyrics. This genre uses
bright colors e.g. bang bang (Jessie j), the colorful
video make the viewer mentally in a good mood.
Make-up is used in videos. Public places are used
widely in these videos.

9. Camera Work
 The camera shots are widely used in the videos of
this genre, which include close-ups, wide shot and
extreme close up, mainly of the artists e.g. If the
artist is smoking then close-up on the smoke coming
out from his/her mouth. If there is any scar then it
would focus the scar.

10. Sound & Feel
 Every music gives you feel e.g. soft music relaxes
you, sad music makes you sad and rock music pumps
you. This genre gives a good feel and helps in getting
in a happy mood when depressed or sad. This genre
excited and enthusiastic.
