For those of you who do not have an account - For your user name- you may want to think if you want something regarding your name, or libraries. Depending on purpose of account. Under Settings you can play around with other items like your account, password, mobile notifications, regular notices, profile description, and design which is just picking a theme

Twitter offers a great way to follow conferences, even if you can’t make it. There are often hashtags for all sorts of conferences – I’ve included the most recent for ALA annual – from the ALA wiki.
[click on link] it will be updated for 2011 – good way to find more people to follow or if you are going to the conference you can see who else is there, etc
Great way to see job postings – and another great list to follow. You can use the list to find library specific job posters
